Don't be ridiculous, @Windywendys. The email investigation found nothing remotely comparable to the numerous scandals around Trump. Multiple women have alleged he sexually assaulted them. He is an out and out misogynist and a racist. He has utterly failed to condemn white supremacists, even encouraged them. He has presided over a regime that separates immigrant children from parents and keeps them in horrific conditions. Some have died. Many women have had forced hysterectomies in detention camps. He has whipped up racism and xenophobia from the early days of his election campaign. America's reputation across the world has suffered.
He appears to have paid almost no tax for many years. He inherited a large fortune, portrays himself as a crack businessman, but in reality most of the businesses he's run have done poorly or failed, including a casino, which is almost a licence to print money. He has cost the US taxpayer vast sums by going off to one of his golf clubs every weekend instead of staying in the White House or one of the other Presidential abodes. His family are freeloaders of a high order, and have made a lot of money trading on his high profile as President.
His election campaign in 2016 was dirty in the extreme, even if not outright corrupt. He is a serial liar. He avoided military service in Vietnam not out of principled objection to the Vietnam war, but by getting a very dubious medical exemption, strongly suggesting he's a selfish coward. And then he had the gall to insult Senator John McCain.
"He's a war hero because he was captured," he said. "I like people that weren't captured." Mr McCain was held and repeatedly tortured for five-and-a-half years after his plane was shot down in the Vietnam war.
And now he's threatening the constitution by making noises about refusing to accept the election result.
He is beneath contempt. I don't hope he dies, but I can't summon up any sympathy for him if he does fall ill.
