Watch us wreck the mike, watch us wreck the mike, watch us wreck the mike.
Psych.

Now gather nicely in groups of no more than six...
Unless you're outdoors in Wales...

Oh well, come on in whatever the laws where you are. Plenty of space in this bubble of sanity Wink

I’ll be getting my flu jag. I’m pretty confident I can fight off covid - but given my comorbidities I’m not sure my body would enjoy them both at the same time.

DorsetBlueMovie · 22/09/2020 19:52

@TheOrchidKiller

I get a free flu jab at work. I'm not fussy, I'll take any freebies- pens, post-it notes, flu jabs, but I draw the line at those stupid pom-poms with boggly eyes on them.

For bingo : "New restrictions? They won't affect me."
Said smugly with folded arms, & no comprehension that it has a massive impact on other people.

I miss drug reps. They had the best free shit.

justasking111

@TheOrchidKiller that is a downer. Where r u going it is the west that will cop it hardest.

I'm going same place as I've been for the past 9 months : nowhere!

It's Eastish but still not brilliant weather. I swear Boris has got access to our work annual leave planner & has Larry the Cat on his knee as he cackles like a Bond villain...

Actually, I think he has a Suggestions Box, & SAGE write down ideas & he picks one out at random.

TheOrchidKiller · 22/09/2020 19:56

@dorsetbluemovies
Officially, we're not allowed to accept the free pens anymore because it could be seen as us favouring one company over another. Even though we have no prescribing rights or purchasing power ourselves.

We were still allowed to eat their sandwich lunches though.

Jourdain11 · 22/09/2020 19:56

I bet Larry doesn't like Boris. He has better taste than that!

DominaShantotto · 22/09/2020 20:03

I hope Larry both shits AND vomits up hairballs in Boris's slippers (you just know he has slippers and a naffo dressing gown)

I hate Boris and his twat army so much - I didn't know I had so much anger in my body.

Littlebelina · 22/09/2020 20:09

Well that was a pile of shit wasn't it? Can he fucking stop with the bad Churchill impressions?

Bollss · 22/09/2020 20:14

@DorsetBlueMovie

DH has just mentioned the 8pm announcement... did I want to watch it?

It's funny how I avidly watched them at the start (clutching a glass of wine) and now am completely fatigued. I'll get the gist from the bbc website later and will continue re-watching Fleabag thanks. Bo-Jo or Andrew Scott? I know who I want on my telly.

Youve not missed owt.

Boris told us what we the public wanted (wrong) how he knows we will all pull together (wrong) and then just lots and lots of threats of total lockdown. Angry

Littlebelina · 22/09/2020 20:16

And promises of glitter sitting unicorns (mass rapid testing)

Littlebelina · 22/09/2020 20:16

glitter shitting cunty autocorrect

SirSamuelVimes · 22/09/2020 20:17

"it'll be much better by spring". Oh fucking will it, Boris? Oh I'm so fucking glad. So that's a full year if our lives lost to this shit then.

Excuse me if I don't feel comforted, especially coming from Boris "we can turn this around in twelve weeks" Johnson.

Prick.

JamSarnie · 22/09/2020 20:18

Well they was another 15 mins of my life listening to shiny shit that I won't get back ever again.

TheOrchidKiller · 22/09/2020 20:25

Larry would do a better job.
Trouble is, Larry is a cat so he'd spend much of the time asleep, puff himself up if threatened, chase anything that moved, & do anything for a Dreamy & a sniff of catnip.

Oh, hang on, he fits the criteria purrfectly!

justasking111 · 22/09/2020 20:29

Well at last Drakeford and Boris are singing from the same hymn sheet. We can still go out until 10pm, never last longer than that anyway these days. Dripford would prefer we only did essential journeys HAH to that one. We can still have our bubbles but not visit Auntie Gladys at the other end of the country coz shes not in our bubble unless we sit outside. Kids under 11 do not count in our bubble thank god. We can now care Hancock says for our grand kids, school runs etc.

We still cannot get together with our friends which I am sad about.

DorsetBlueMovie · 22/09/2020 20:33

Definitely had a better time with Andrew Scott..... "Kneeeeelll" ConfusedGrin

Mrsfrumble · 22/09/2020 20:36

Friend just posted this on fb Grin

So the inevitable has happened in our house; DD with cough-variant asthma has started coughing. It happens every autumn / winter, when she catches the first cold of the season, then carries on until spring. Only this year it’s come early Hmm
So today I dragged her off for a test and now we’re all stuck at home until the (inevitably negative) result comes in. Joy!

TheOrchidKiller · 22/09/2020 20:36

Watching Bake Off. The opening sketch with Matt Lucas taking off Boris was actually quite funny & very true.
"Bake in a tent if you can. But equally don't bake in a tent."

wanderings · 22/09/2020 20:42

Haven't watched it (thinking of uploading a picture of turned-off TV to Facebook, as people did about Trump's election), but from the general gist on BBC: lots of blaming the public. Not a word about his own shit show, including the fabled world-class test and trace, and Cummings. And if he then imposes lockdown in a week, when the effects of today haven't had time to come through yet? The rule of 6 has barely had time to be effective yet.

Fuck off Boris. Do the decent thing. Resign.

LivinLaVidaLoki · 22/09/2020 20:45

Have to admit I lost my shit when he mentioned being in a position where we are unable to continue with cancer treatments etc again.
I just screamed at the telly "it's not that you were unable....you CLOSED THEM ALL OFF. YOU SACKED OFF THOUSANDS OF SERIOUSLY ILL PEOPLE TO EMPTY A HEALTH SERVICE THAT WASNT OVERWHELMED AND BUILD HOSPITALS THAT WERE NEVER USED. FOR FUCKS SAKE FOR ONCE IN YOUR SHITTING LIFE BE HONEST WITH US!!! WANT US TO OBEY THE RULES (I do incidentally) THEN BE HONEST WITH US ABOUT WHY THEY ARE THERE. NOT THIS GRANNY KILLING, INVISIBLE ENEMY HORSESHIT!!!"

LivinLaVidaLoki · 22/09/2020 20:46

Also it seems to completely bypass the fact that one of the most important tools we have would be a test, track and isolate system that is actually fit for purpose. But we don't. But let's not mention that eh Bojo? Fucking idiot.

LivinLaVidaLoki · 22/09/2020 20:48

I like this.

Our health board never got going again, too busy prepping for second wave. So many avoidable deaths they have blood on their hands.

Mrsfrumble · 22/09/2020 21:04

God yes, the public blaming! Too many “flouting the rules”. Not you then Boris, bribing everyone to go out for a curry and then ordering them back to the office? Gaslighting fucker.

Littlebelina · 22/09/2020 21:08

He is a bellend
