This is bizarre - basically just pics of the cars and none of the house

It's the sort of bizarre photos i'd expect if you let 4 year old take them!

Quarantino · 11/08/2020 16:20

The sheer illiteracy of that written description would make me want to avoid that agent. I would have no confidence that they'd complete documents correctly or even check things.

BarbaraofSeville · 11/08/2020 16:21

You would hope that a more literate friend or relative would give them advice about having a professional looking website.

If it is the same person who used to run something called Haji tours, you have to feel sorry for them. It's likely that they've lost their main business (package tours to Mecca for the Hajj) this year and will be facing bankruptcy. I've seen stories on our local news websites about similar businesses with the same problem.

Saz42 · 11/08/2020 16:23

The estate agents get to see how many people have viewed it on Rightmove. They're going to be shocked at the amount of interest 🤣

oakleaffy · 11/08/2020 16:24

Are they selling two cars? Possibly the parking bays?

Appalling pics..Estate agents always seem to use wide angle lenses, too, so rooms look massive.
When you see them in real life, they look tiny.

www.pjlivesey-group.co.uk/st-james-park-didsbury/ has photos if you select the lodge. I reckon they weren't given agreement to put them on Right Move.
JonHammIsMyJamm · 11/08/2020 16:26

The brochure price has the lodge at £650k.
Rightmove has it at £795k.

I wonder how much time has elapsed between those two valuations?

GiantPinesAhem · 11/08/2020 16:26

I don't see any confusion, it's only just been listed and I haven't got internal pictures yet. It's quite common to only put the external pictures to start with.

oakleaffy · 11/08/2020 16:27

Appalling spelling too : '''Hart'' for ''Heart'' &c.

Needed proof reading before going online.

oakleaffy · 11/08/2020 16:28

@Saz42
Lol re. ''Sudden burst of interest '' from all over the Country. 😂

Salome61 · 11/08/2020 16:30

I didn't like having my house on line either, especially when someone complimented me on my bed linen. Such an invasion of privacy really, glad it's all over now.

mellicauli · 11/08/2020 16:31

Do you think it's some kind of scam? The writing is so appalling,. Surely even the most incompetent estate agent wouldn't write like that.

MissKittyCat · 11/08/2020 16:36

The lodge in the P J Livesey brochure looks like a different lodge.
Chicchicchicchiclana · 11/08/2020 16:42

Ha! That's pretty funny. Perhaps the property is let and the tenants haven given permission for anyone to go in and take photos. The written drscription though Shock.

rosiejaune · 11/08/2020 16:43

Aren't virtually all houses "architect designed"?!

ThaGugaBlasta · 11/08/2020 16:44

It's like they're actually selling it to the cars, not human beings. 'Look! There are two parking spaces for you and a friend! And you can enjoy this long, luxurious access road, completely pothole-free. There's a small paved garden area, with a gnome, where the owners could maybe leave the roofbox or clean the mats. And it's a dead end.'

Villanemme · 11/08/2020 16:44

Yes, that one is a semi. 'Our' one is detached

FlamingoAndJohn · 11/08/2020 16:44
@Mamabeemer looked up the company its very new started June 2020 by a 21 year old and yes the address is the same as Haji Tours
The address is the same, the logo is the same and Haji Tours / HT....... I see a theme.

sugarbum · 11/08/2020 16:45

They haven't given the estate agents permission to take photos or they're not happy with the photos taken so the estate agent has just done the best they can LOL!

Apolloanddaphne · 11/08/2020 16:47

@GiantPinesAhem I have never known a house to go live online without the internal pictures. I just sold a house and it couldn't go live until I had agreed the pictures were all okay.

ClamDango · 11/08/2020 16:49

The one and.only director at HT Homes says he was.born in 1999 so not.very experienced in house sellingConfused

Jessbow · 11/08/2020 16:50

Does one of the bathrooms really open onto the garden?

Loving the random use of Capital letter through the text.
In the hart of Didsbury......

It beggars belief really

KaptainKaveman · 11/08/2020 16:54

I have never read such unprofessional shite. It's unbelievably appalling Shock

I see it fairly regularly. I would be asking questions if there was still no pictures of it later on.

ValleyoftheTrolls · 11/08/2020 17:00

@tillytoodles1

If you go down to the bottom of the page there's a brochure you can view, but I'm on my phone and the photos aren't very big.
There are a few pictures of the interior but even those are fairly crap and don’t give you much of a sense of the overall property. Nor any clue as to how smart you have to be to live there.
