This is bizarre - basically just pics of the cars and none of the house

Is it a footballers pad? They don't want to be Daily Mail fodder???

WhoWouldHaveThoughtThat · 11/08/2020 15:54

I was going to comment. .. but on this occasion I am lost for words! Confused

trappedsincesundaymorn · 11/08/2020 15:54

I can see a prime-time game show opportunity. The smartest family wins the house.

tillytoodles1 · 11/08/2020 15:55

If you go down to the bottom of the page there's a brochure you can view, but I'm on my phone and the photos aren't very big.

BarbaraofSeville · 11/08/2020 15:56

@WhatATimeToBeAlive

£800k for a 3 bed in Manchester?! I thought it was supposed to be cheap up there!
It's somewhere that's always mentioned as an acceptable place to live on threads where a London based Mumsnetter is in the awful position of having to move up north.

Hence the high prices so she might feel vaguely at home. I think there's a John Lewis nearby or somesuch.

You would have thought that they could have taken a few snaps of the interior when they were doing the measurements for the floorplan.

SirGawain · 11/08/2020 15:58

For that price I would hope for a seller and agent who were at least literate!

justdawah.blogspot.com/2017/03/disreputable-hajj-umrah-tour-operators.html

I myself had a bad experience this Febuary when I booked a Umrah trip with Mohammed Arif of Haji Tours in Levenshulme. I had been told my hotel was the four star Dar Al Eimaan Grand but upon arriving in Makkah in my Ihraam fatigued after a long delayed flight I was met by their middle man Rana Tariq at the hotel and told it was fully booked and he had got us a room in a nearby hotel which turned out to be a poor 2 star standard hotel.I was too mentally and spiritually focused on completing my Umrah that I accepted the room and was told a few days later that they will be making it up to us by putting us in the Anjum 5 star with breakfast upon our return from Madinah. I learnt that this was due to my colleagues having had their family members complain to them back at Haji tours.
Upon arriving back home I did visit them to see what had caused the mix up but was met with an aggressive hostile attitude from Mohammed Arif who then blamed his assistant Sarfraz Ahmed who blamed their middleman in Makkah who is Rana tariq. This is a common theme amongst some tour operators where blame is passed on to others.

There are a few interior photos if you click on the brochure, but none of them look professionally done. If they haven't had photos done yet, maybe just one clear photo of the exterior would look better as a temporary thing. It's the only property from this agent, so I wonder if it's a real estate agent. Estate agent basics=use a wide angle lens and landscape format.

MidnightCitrus · 11/08/2020 16:00

just to say - this is not my write up

AuldAlliance · 11/08/2020 16:00

Why is every word capitalised in the description? Eeek

Apart from the ones at the start of sentences Hmm.

Pic 6 is my particular favourite.

cruisecrazy · 11/08/2020 16:01

If you click on brochure on the estate agents list there are some internal pictures. Must say it looks as though the Vendor could have done a bit of a tidy before the Agent came.

BarbaraofSeville · 11/08/2020 16:02

Maybe the person who did the listing used to work for Autotrader and is therefore struggling to lose the compulsion to take pictures or cars.

BlueJava · 11/08/2020 16:03

That made me laugh - like they are selling cars not the house! HT Homes (the agent) don't look very experienced (sensible?) from the write up and pics! I'd be really pissed off if it were my house.

2bazookas · 11/08/2020 16:03

Security issue. It's an exclusive gated development, aimed at the kind of buyer who expects and pays for privacy, absolute discretion, and very tight security.

A bit like when virginity used to be the top-selling asset in the bridal market.

SunshineCake · 11/08/2020 16:04

I went back to read th description after seeing the comments and only managing a couple of sentences the first time around. I gave up after the dinning.

What is wrong with our education system that someone thinks that spiel is okay ?

Villanemme · 11/08/2020 16:05

Those kitchen pics! Have they emptied the cupboards and dumped all the stuff on the worktops?

lotusbell · 11/08/2020 16:05

If you click on the brochure, there are a few more interior pics

Quartz2208 · 11/08/2020 16:06

@Mamabeemer looked up the company its very new started June 2020 by a 21 year old and yes the address is the same as Haji Tours

ChicCroissant · 11/08/2020 16:06

I also clicked through to the brochure - the interior isn't bad but it does look a lot smaller than I'd expect from the exterior shots. Whether that is because the house is small or the photos are rubbish so the developers don't want them on Rightmove I don't know!

Hoppinggreen · 11/08/2020 16:08

From a few clues I would say that the people selling the house are not British born so there is a bit of cultural difference going on there I think.
Despite that I am still surprised at the lack of interior shots

Thecobwebsarewinning · 11/08/2020 16:09

Even the photos in the brochure are bad. They are the sort of photos my 6yo niece takes when she is given a phone to play with.

TheKarenWhoKnocks · 11/08/2020 16:12

The brochure isn't the best, is it? A living room, a fruit bowl, a window, the end of a bed and 4000 pictures of cars. Where are the many bathrooms?

fruityt · 11/08/2020 16:14

So odd. I purposefully hid our expensive cars for the pictures. Leaving number plates on is a big no.
Dreadful grammar.

Thelittleweasel · 11/08/2020 16:17

@Divorcedatlast @takeabrolly

I know I'm a pedant but I would expect literacy. I spotted at least 4 mistakes

"dinning" "the hart of Didsbury" "located of all amenities" "the house have four entrances"

BarbaraofSeville · 11/08/2020 16:18

Why is leaving number plates visible such a no no? I've always wondered this.

Anyone can see them in real life, so what security problem does a photo of them appearing on the internet add?
