I’m interested to know....have had a recent insight that has made me wonder about how other people view their childhoods.

Lonely, confused, inadequate

Loving. Supported. Prioritised.

Unwanted, hungry, lonely

Not very happy.

Scared, unloved, neglected

surrounded by family

Countryside peace confusion

Sweets, tv, independent

Fucked up mess

Happy, loving, dancing

(one of my happiest memories is coming home from visiting family on Sundays to switch the charts on and dance with our parents around the living room)

Happy, loving, adventurous.

Sudden Change @ 12

No happy memories

Reading, playing, teatime

Anxious, bullied, independent.

Conventional, content, adequate.

I was bullied.

Happy, fortunate, blessed

lonely, scared, anxious

Loving, happy, over-protected

Freedom, fun, playing

Loved, happy, outside

Safe, cautious, home

Fat, lonely, sad.

Poor, scared, paranoid
