Describe your childhood in three words

I’m interested to know....have had a recent insight that has made me wonder about how other people view their childhoods.

Frightened, abused, dissociated.

Happy, sunny, safe.
I was a child in the 50s/60s and typically of the time I was not hugged or told I was loved, but I knew I was.

Loved, sunny and carefree

Lonely, shit, excruciating.

Misfit, shy, lonely.

Happy, peaceful, safe...[in an all female household]...

...until a stepfather comes along when I'm 11. Not so happy after that.

Alone, shamed, silent

Loved, safe, magical.

Long time ago.

Unwanted, abused and neglected.

Never good enough

Early bereavement minimised

Mum was alive.

manipulated, confused, rubbish

Confused, happy, spoilt

Poor, happy, freedom

Loved, anxious, confusing

Lonely, scared, unhappy.

Bitter, cold mother

Glad it's over.

Really fucking awful

Physical emotional abuse.

waste of time

Warm, loving, content.

Chaotic, fun, intense
