How do you smell if you go 48 hours with washing/ showering or using deodorant?

Especially in terms of armpit. Do you smell a lot, a little or not at all in 48 hours?

Fairly shocking

AnneLovesGilbert · 01/07/2020 20:16

Not at all.

CherryValanc · 01/07/2020 20:17

Without deodorant? Pretty ripe - worse if I've been for a run.

Not sure, I can't remember the last time I went that long without a shower. I'm not fully awake in the morning till Ive been showered.

Maybe I should experiment while I'm working from home and get back to you 😂

goose1964 · 01/07/2020 20:19

Not at all. I no longer sweat under my pits, although that my be due to my deodorant.

Toilenstripes · 01/07/2020 20:19

Are you a BO troll?

FuckyNel · 01/07/2020 20:19

Like roses

Paperyfish · 01/07/2020 20:20

With my nose

InMySpareTime · 01/07/2020 20:21

Not at all, I have a chronic illness so don't have the energy to wash every day. I can manage a bath 3 times a week, and smell fine betweentimes.
Obviously I'm not going out running etc so don't get sweaty.

AgnesNaismith · 01/07/2020 20:22

Gross, really gross. I’d never do it.

dementedpixie · 01/07/2020 20:22

Without antiperspirant I would smell within a few hours

homemadecommunistrussia · 01/07/2020 20:22

It depends if it's been hot..

Sooobooored · 01/07/2020 20:22

A bit whiffy close up but passable.

Scbchl · 01/07/2020 20:23

I use to regularly not shower for 48 hours when younger and pre kids. Would get a shower saturday morning and go out drinking and not get in till Sunday then sleep rest of Sunday and shower Monday. Cant remember being too bad to be honest and I'd of likely been dancing around etc.

Now I'd only do it if it ill. Didn't shower for about four/five days when ill with Coronavirus as I had no energy and stank due to high fever.

CatBatCat · 01/07/2020 20:27

I don't smell after I had an accident in the war which left me with a condition which means I can't sweat.

namechangenumber204 · 01/07/2020 20:27

Not any longer - would have done when younger but I'm old now and I don't. Don't perspire as much though so that may have something to do with it...

Nighttimefreedom · 01/07/2020 20:30

I would smell quite bad. It would vary depending on what I'd been doing and wearing.
I've come to learn really to never wear anything right around my armpits even in the winter. I'm one of the worlds sweaty people.

😂

ExtremelyBoldSquirrels · 01/07/2020 20:33

I would smell fine around the armpits. I have the gene for dry ear wax that also means I don’t need to wear antiperspirant. I never have. (See: amp.theguardian.com/science/sifting-the-evidence/2013/feb/14/wasting-money-deodorant-ears)

However, I’d feel disgusting and my nether regions would most definitely need a wash. So I wouldn’t leave it 48 hours, whatever my armpits were like.

missmouse101 · 01/07/2020 20:33

Do you mean withOUT? Hmm

SingleHandSue · 01/07/2020 20:35

Unless it’s been really hot I don’t smell much at all.

DH is always amazed that I hardly need deodorant.

LST · 01/07/2020 20:36

I don't. I have never showered every day and never will. I use mitchum under arm roll on.

Wanderer1 · 01/07/2020 20:37

If I've got deodorant on then not at all.

ExtremelyBoldSquirrels · 01/07/2020 20:42

Have you got dry ear wax @ SingleHandSue?

DH is amazed that I don’t need deodorant and don’t smell. And jealous. It took him many, many months to realize that I just don’t use or buy it when we first met.

AriettyHomily · 01/07/2020 20:44

I don't smell. I really don't, nit just saying that.

I do however sweat profusely always have done, so use driclor so in fact don't sweat at all, which may be why I don't smell. I've used it since I was a teen.
