Bojo looks like Vickie Pollard in that picture.

RobinHobb · 19/06/2020 17:38

@BogRollBOGOF
I want to know too...
I actually contemplated it myself the other day. It was padlocked but we could have vaulted over it..:

BogRollBOGOF · 19/06/2020 17:38

No breaking in. The main playground at this park is padlocked, and we went walking on and fiscovered a smaller community one for a new housing estate just off the main park. I'm amazed I've never spotted it before. I'm guessing that one had been taped, but we just walked straight in.

Ibake · 19/06/2020 17:38

To be fair @pickachew, starting to sound like her too these days: yeah but no but yeah but no

torydeathdrug · 19/06/2020 17:46

Hancock - mean girl
Raab - lesbian PE teacher all the young lesbians fancy (dd1 wants girl Rabb to ask her out)
Mogg - head girl
Rishi - the nice prefect
Alok - poor Alok just looks like Alok in drag
Gove - poor man's Hermione
Williamson - blimey! She's lovely!

Had a lovely afternoon in middlesbrough and a good natter to my friend who has the crystal shop in the arcade. Thankfully she’s done well over lockdown as she’s done lots of online sales. Was so worried about her because her art and craft teaching classes have dried up too.

Also got some good bargains at the health store..
Loads of people out and a good selection of shops open..surprisingly quite a few closed still
A few masked rangers..maybe 10 per cent..if they have respiratory problems ..well good luck to the,.

Kept eyeing the queue for primark and thought ..no way
Nothing in quiz or doroty Perkins. I remember filling my boots this time last year when monks cross outfit was closing down..dresses for £5 and £7 , I think £10 was the most I paid
Nothing like that there today..not even in the style I like
Then a few bargains in m and s food..and home sat in the car with the door open, getting the last of the rays as the sun is finished in our garden.

DS (15) has been on the computer working since 9.30 doing some English assessed work and now meeting others at 6pm to complete some other work due in today all a bit much really, maybe it has all built up...

Orangeblossom78 · 19/06/2020 17:48

Primark puts me off as ours is in a basement

TheGreatWave · 19/06/2020 17:49

We are hoping for baby hogs too. We have a house and a camera so just need to wait and see what happens.

torydeathdrug · 19/06/2020 17:56

Well done @BogRollBOGOF

Here’s our local park 🤬

I’ve been shopping in two different towns today, so murderous! I didn’t find any bargains as such, DD spent a fortune on books in Waterstones who were very sniffy about her paying in cash. I found one open charity shop but nothing took my eye, DD bought yet another book though.

Dowser · 19/06/2020 17:59

I don’t think I’ll ever tire of tracey ullman imitating Nicola sturgeon fish on you tube
Classic

Orangeblossom78 · 19/06/2020 18:04

haha, we have a sign in Bath saying they are sorry for not cutting the grass as much during this time or something. and these odd 'people may step out!' signs on the roads.

BogRollBOGOF · 19/06/2020 18:04

I was set to lift the kids into a village playground twice last week. First night, a big group of teenagers was already in there so we left them to it. Second night, the police were loitering and detering a couple of teenagers and on realising no one was going anywhere in a hurry, we moved on again.

DS2's mood is so much better for it. He's been really snarly in the last 36 hours and he's normally so infectiously sunny.

Orangeblossom78 · 19/06/2020 18:06

we have got BBQ zones and things as here open now

I was just having a tidy of the photos on my iPad and saw the one of the Nicola Sturgeon dog alike, it made me giggle and probably deserves a second airing .

SpnBaby1967 · 19/06/2020 18:07

Hello my merry band of murderers!

I have had a crazy few days at work so I am so glad it is Friday. Going to murder the local elderly population by sending DH and DS out to get a chippy tea.

Going back to karate this weekend (think we may even be breaking the rules by using a hall??) But I'll be relieved to get back to it.

Good news that the score on the Nandos chart has been reduced, and that the aim is for all kids to be in school full time in september.

Sadly my offices dont look like they'll be opening much. We got some pictures of our large london office and my team members floor which usually has a good 150 people on looks like it'll have maybe 15 people. Insane crockery and bin rules as well. No news on my office yet, it's very much smaller and has next to no staff in it so who knows 🤷‍♀️

BogRollBOGOF · 19/06/2020 18:08

I've noticed in a few parks that the tape for outdoor gyms is long gone even if that had been bothered with in the first place. Padlocks remain on the children's equipment. Zero difference in actual risk. Hmm

Orangeblossom78 · 19/06/2020 18:08

That is too much a likeness! Grin

fartingsparkles · 19/06/2020 18:11

Can't seem to start a new thread for some reason, so will pester you lovely people!

I want to make a nutella cheesecake. I have cream cheese, nutella, mascarpone and Elle (substitution). Have googled but wanted tried and tested. Would be so grateful for any suggestions!!

bookworm14 · 19/06/2020 18:11

Rishi - the nice prefect

My DH went to school with Rishi and confirms he was very nice!

Dowser · 19/06/2020 18:11

Spud let
It’s like staying healthy is my main hobby
I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed by it but probably am.

I spend a lot of money on my personal healthcare, which is why I’ve never worried about this virus.
If I can’t put myself right, I know several people who maybe can

Dowser · 19/06/2020 18:13

Weird energies in Stirling
I had to get out of the graveyard pretty damn quick, ( normally I’m ok with them ) I really felt something unpleasant and that huge black pyramid gave me the shudders
