At today's briefing, definitely not himself.

come off it, who has Ever criticized Queen Nicola, and I quote directly from MN

Crescent11 · 16/06/2020 21:40

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie I don't think David Cameron's actions or inactions caused thousands of deaths either.

annabel85 · 16/06/2020 21:41

Probably not 100% recovered but it's the pressure of the job as well. He's blatantly not up to it.

When he was London mayor he was phoning it in half the time. He's got no work ethic. It's a trial for him to turn up to these things once a week.

SabrinaThwaite · 16/06/2020 21:42

Find it hard to believe Johnson is getting no sleep in his 4 bed No 11 flat due to a new baby.

Maybe he could ask Javid for tips on how he coped in the 2 bed No 10 flat, what with Javid having 4 children?

Lonelycrab · 16/06/2020 21:42

He looked like someone grappling with the fact CV and Brexit will devastate us as a country.
He was only ever in it for shits and giggles so it’s a bit unexpected and off piste Hmm

AnnaNimmity · 16/06/2020 21:43

awful man - I have no sympathy for him.

stop focusing on whether he looks a bit tired, or whether his hair is too long, and look at what he says and does (or doesn't do).

PrincessConsuelaVaginaHammock · 16/06/2020 21:44

@Fosler

What's with the personal insults about his appearance? Those who throw those insults around? You are perfect? (No doubt in your own small minds!).

How bullying and childish you all are! Go take a good look at yourselves in the mirror and examine your character. I wonder how you'd present, under such stress and responsibility, on tv, with no hairdresser etc! Hypocrites! Should be ashamed of yourselves. No better than school yard bullies!

Yes, criticising someone who has infinitely more power than you and literally doesn't give a fuck if you live or die is exactly the same as schoolyard bullying.
The80sweregreat · 16/06/2020 21:44

He doesn't look well at all.
I guess he thought in December , ' this is good an 80 seat majority and Brexit will be done and it'll all be ok and I won't have to do a huge amount of work : happy days.
Be careful what you wish for!
I bet his still recovering from covid.

annabel85 · 16/06/2020 21:49

@tinytemper66

Any one who has sympathy with a racist, misogynistic, philandering liar can fuck off!
Hard not to feel for him if you've got a heart. His dream job has turned into a nightmare and he's been ill.
SabrinaThwaite · 16/06/2020 21:50

Johnson lied and finagled his way into No 10 and it’s proved a wee bit harder than he thought it would be. He’s obviously completely reliant on that fuckwit Cummings, he’s been shown to have delayed the lockdown which has cost thousands of lives and we’re supposed to feel sorry for him?

StoorieHoose · 16/06/2020 21:50

Nicola has had plenty of disparaging comments made about hee hair and personal appearance on MN

AmICrazyorWhat2 · 16/06/2020 21:51

Most PM's look knackered after a few months in the job. Although David Cameron looked scarily young for years. Grin

ChickenNuggetsChipsAndBeans · 16/06/2020 21:52

BJ isn't fit for the job, but that is because he has no grasp of detail and at the moment we need someone who understands detail.

Theresa May would have been far better during this time.

Up to the Cummings scandal, I quite liked BJ. BJ is one of those sadly tragic figures, who finally got what he really wanted, to be a prime minister in the style of Churchill and then he fucked it all up.

But, I don't feel sorry for BJ, I feel sorry for us, normal people who will suffer because of his poor decision making.

ListeningQuietly · 16/06/2020 21:54

There's no one that I can picture doing any better.
Hmm
Merkel, Arden, Macron, Trudeau, Starmer, my cat, me, many of the posters of the Covid numbers threads
anybody competent in fact

HesterShaw1 · 16/06/2020 21:55

That's because he was made of plasticine, like Morph.
SusieOwl4 · 16/06/2020 22:00

It makes me laugh .The nasty personal comments about Boris , but if a partner makes a small comment about a woman everyone leaps to her defence because NO ONE should speak about you like that , you are worth more ,bastard making personal comments , who does he think he is , etc etc .

But you can say what you want about Another human being because you think you know everything about him.

Dual standards to try and prove a political point .

BoxAndKnife · 16/06/2020 22:04

His dream job has turned into a nightmare

Cry me a fucking river.

It's not his 'dream job'. It's the job he's believed himself to be entitled to ever since he knew of its existence. Big, big difference.

Whenever I wonder why this country keeps electing lying, venal, incompetent Tories I just have to read an MN thread about 'poor Boris', and all becomes clear. We have got the government we deserve.

CrowdedHouseinQuarantine · 16/06/2020 22:04

it is a waste of time posting, let alone, reading, personal attacks on Boris' looks/hair
not big or clever.

tinytemper66 · 16/06/2020 22:06

I haven't commented on his looks etc...I have commented on what a twat he is. I couldn't care less what he looks like. I just want a leader to do that lead! Hope that helps.

itsgettingweird · 16/06/2020 22:08

He looks like I'd expect!

Well expect for a populist who literally was only going to get one job done - Brexit. Which in reality wasn't really going to be hard going when his spad was leading it and working 16 hour days.

But actually discovered the job isn't about being a populist. It's about running the country. And there's no harder time for that than during Brexit and a pandemic.

Add in he's been extremely ill himself and had a baby.

I think Matt Hancock has been looking more Ill recently. He looks very tried and over wrought (again - like you'd expect)

Cailleach1 · 16/06/2020 22:09

Ah, bless. You mean head honcho and his cockamamy crew who were happy to let loads of people die in their herd immunity rubbish (not by vaccination) and were happily planning to allow children to go hungry. I know who should be ashamed. Plus now the country really is being run by unelected and unaccountable personnel.

BoxAndKnife · 16/06/2020 22:10

Sorry to be pedantic, but he hasn't had a baby.

And I'd bet good money that he sees that baby for max 20 mins a day. The idea that he looks tired because he's got a newborn in the house is hilarious.

It would take a heart of stone not to have some sympathy with Boris right now. He's been dealt a bad hand.
YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 16/06/2020 22:10

He deliberately messes his hair up to distract from the shite he spouts

Alsohuman · 16/06/2020 22:14

He must be so out of touch with public feeling. It is because of ill health maybe he needs to step down so that someone more capable can take over

No, it’s because of Cummings, he told us himself that he filters what reaches Johnson. He’s Cummings’ puppet.
