What do you call this plate of food...?

When you have a selection of various foodstuffs? For example:
Crackers, cheese, ham, boiled egg, hummus, crudités, pork pie or sausage roll, grapes.

Basically, a little bit of everything. I've seen it called a 'picky plate' or 'snack plate' on FB etc. I've also seen it mentioned on MN how they detest the saying.

So, I'm just curious what you call this type of meal?

We call it 'picnic tea'

As much as the term makes you, and others, cringe the fact that you, and others, feel so free to denigrate what is so normal for many makes me angry.

Usually an 'eating up' lunch. Tends to happen when there are lots of leftovers and half eaten packets of things in the fridge and I need room for a big shop.

Never heard of the phrase picky tea before, sounds a bit twee, or the type of meal you'd give a fussy toddler. (Although possibly because it sounds like icky, which is one of my least favourite words of all time)

Kids call it pick and choose, they love a pick and choose dinner!

Picky tea, Cold tea or Holiday dinner as it's what we have for lunch on holiday

A wee snacky plate

"Bitsa meal" As in bit of this and a bit of that. Kids love those meals.

Cold plate - term which just means nothing had to be cooked to be hot on it.
