Something just moved in my stomach..

I’ve name changed for this.

Something literally just rolled in my stomach, there was a popping sensation and now I swear I have a bump where I didn’t before. Nothing that strange until I mention that I’ve not had sex since November and I’ve had periods since then. But something is moving in my stomach, and not like trapped wind. I’ll get out for a test first thing, but I surely can’t be that many weeks pregnant and not have had a single symptom till now, surely? Please someone tell me I can’t.

Have been following this thread since the start. Glad your midwife appt went well and you heard the heartbeat. Will be thinking about you having your scan next week!

Just think, you’ve missed the first few months of major nausea and tiredness..but now you gotta deal with shock instead

Gosh OP 31 weeks!

I know you still have to tell the dad so no rush but once you've got your head around it I'd recommend posting about it in a mums group or something- I'm sure mums of older babies would be glad to give you the things you need to get all set up!

How are you feeling about it? Must have been so surreal for you today.

31 weeks! Goodness. I hope you're ok. As a pp said, we're all very excited for you but it's your life and I hope it's a good shock.

I'm utterly jealous though! I adore newborns, they're the best bit and hated pregnancy! Plus at 48 my ship has well and truly sailed, so I'm living it through you

No it doesn’t change anything. Would need to be 4 years pregnant for it to change anything!

My mum found out at 33 weeks with my sister. We had no chance wrapping our heads round that, and my dad just sat in shock for days.

Oh my, I read your thread about 2 minutes after you originally posted, dismissed it as wind and moved on!
