Something just moved in my stomach..

I’ve name changed for this.

Something literally just rolled in my stomach, there was a popping sensation and now I swear I have a bump where I didn’t before. Nothing that strange until I mention that I’ve not had sex since November and I’ve had periods since then. But something is moving in my stomach, and not like trapped wind. I’ll get out for a test first thing, but I surely can’t be that many weeks pregnant and not have had a single symptom till now, surely? Please someone tell me I can’t.

So I’m back.

My head is spinning, midwife doesn’t think I have placenta previa. She thinks I’m just carrying in my back, my “bump” is there only when she pushed above and below it if that makes sense? She thinks I’m around 31 weeks but has said not to take that as gospel until I’ve been scanned. As my bump may be measuring small or big, she said ok to continue lansoprazole. She’s made another appointment for next week because she’s scared I might have missed stuff as I just sat there nodding. I heard heartbeat 💗

Hi OP, you must be reeling - yo have it all confirmed by a midwife and to hear the heartbeat must make it all very real.

While we are all very excited for you, this is your real life. Take time to digest your news, share with people important to you and update us when and if you feel you can.

Good luck in your FWB conversation, his shock will be as big as yours (and I bet he doesn’t have an MN support network).

I'm totally over invested... First thing I did when I got home was to check and see how you got on with the midwife. Can't wait for the FWB conversation update. In reality though, I sincerely hope it goes well and that once over the shock, he is supportive. Might take him a day or two though
