Ideally I'd ban abortion clinics entirely and just have it as a gynae appointment at the hospital. And these protestors wouldn't have anywhere to target

That way it takes away the stigma, abortion should be so much more accessible than it currently is.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 23/05/2020 18:56

Yes

shirleyschmidt · 23/05/2020 18:57

Definitely.

Mrskeats · 23/05/2020 18:58

Of course as they have no right to harass women the way they do

Jasmineben · 23/05/2020 18:58

No

No.

BoogieFeet · 23/05/2020 19:00

Absolutely

Sunnytimesahead · 23/05/2020 19:02

Yes I would. It is a woman’s choice and she should not be subjected to such vile behaviour when making one of the most difficult decisions there is.

PopcornAndWine · 23/05/2020 19:07

Definitely.

Here in Ireland, after the 8th Amendment was repealed, a group started protesting outside the National Maternity Hospital with fake tiny coffins. Knowing full well people were going in and out who were affected by miscarriage, stillbirth, TMFR etc.

I was pregnant at the time and it was fortunate for them that they weren't there when I was attending any of my appointments. I wouldn't have been responsible for my actions.

Nombie · 23/05/2020 19:08

Yes

tinytemper66 · 23/05/2020 19:08

Of course!

MasterBruceBalloon · 23/05/2020 19:09

No I wouldn't. In that people should be freely allowed to stand outside an establishment in silent and peaceful protest. If people were using abusive language or targeting individual people they should be removed by police.

AgentProvocateur · 23/05/2020 19:09

Unequivocally. They are the lowest of the low.

Yes definitely. I had to have a termination for medical reasons two years ago and there were a group of pro-lifers standing outside the maternity hospital after my procedure. I felt like shoving their placards where the sun didn't shine.

AvoidingTheWineAisle · 23/05/2020 19:17

Yes, 100% behind it. These people are nasty lunatics.

Wishforsnow · 23/05/2020 19:18

Yes

Mucklowe · 23/05/2020 19:19

Yes. I've given pro-lifers a piece of my mind in town before. They had set up a huge banner.

Nighttimefreedom · 23/05/2020 19:20

Yes

TheProvincialLady · 23/05/2020 19:21

Yes

Lexie365 · 23/05/2020 19:24

no

Bflatmajorsharp · 23/05/2020 19:26

Yes. I've supported the BPAS campaign for 'buffer zones' since it started.

As the churches who fund these individuals won't agree to voluntarily stop their harassment, then yes I do think that it should be legislated against.

People should be able to go about accessing their lawful healthcare without being harassed and intimidated.

tsmainsqueeze · 23/05/2020 19:30

Yes 100% , i loathe those people.

Soubriquet · 23/05/2020 19:32

I’ve signed the petition and sent to my MP

Probably won’t make a difference but still

tilder · 23/05/2020 19:33

Yes
