Yes, I would agree with that. I wrote to my MP about buffer zones around abortion clinics via BPAS's Back Off campaign https://back-off.org/the-campaign/ but got a fairly non-committal answer from him (male tory), sadly.

Tryingtoslim · 23/05/2020 16:50

@Cosmosgrowinmygarden I am also interested in a petition. I have seen a campaign on back off but the advice was to write your MP. I have tried to research but admittedly not sure the right thing to search, surely there must have been one before?

Yes 100%.
Is there a petition? Very good point re vasectomy clinics - maybe it's because they think a man might react.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 23/05/2020 16:50

yes

MilleniumHallsWalledGarden · 23/05/2020 16:51

Waxonwaxoff0 · 23/05/2020 16:52

Yes 100%, and I've attended counter protests at a local abortion clinic.

ManualFlusherSnot · 23/05/2020 16:54

I would definitely.

Ritascornershop · 23/05/2020 16:54

Yes, absolutely.

Bodie83Nahla · 23/05/2020 16:55

Yes

C152H · 23/05/2020 16:55

Yes

borntohula · 23/05/2020 16:57

Yeah.

topcat2014 · 23/05/2020 16:57

Yes, but then I would ban all forms of protest.

I think I am too conformist sometimes.

Hatscats · 23/05/2020 16:57

100%

WichBitchHarpyTerfThatsMe · 23/05/2020 16:57

Yes. It's no-one else's business.

Peapod29 · 23/05/2020 16:58

Of course

Anotherlovelybitofsquirrel · 23/05/2020 16:58

Yes, definitely.

Tryingtoslim · 23/05/2020 16:58

Having just searched the petitions page of the government website the only thing I could find was a call to reverse the allowance of abortions to take place at home during corona, although this does seem to have the women’s interests as a forefront

OP posts:
Intothesun · 23/05/2020 17:00

Definitely. They have no right to out and harass women. It's not their decision or business. It's the decision of the person who has to deal with the consequences of a pregnancy. The woman. No one else. They should make it illegal and issue large fines to anyone who thinks it's ok to hassle women outside clinics.

DramaAlpaca · 23/05/2020 17:01

Yes, absolutely.

PunkrockerGirl59 · 23/05/2020 17:01

Yes, without a doubt.

Toddlerteaplease · 23/05/2020 17:01

Yes and I say that as someone who is anti abortion.
