I thought it would be better for children to have their own pencil cases etc sò they weren't sharing.
It's a moot point at present as DS is y4, but he has particular pencils/ crayons with grips and special scissors because of his dyspraxia. Class standard ones hurt his hands within a couple of minutes. Presumably "reasonable adaptions" would come into play there because it is specifically his for his SNs, and they don't get shared anyway.
We went out walking today. We decided to stay local as there was too much chance of a mass exodus to the county's more famed beauty spots. The trail nearby which suddenly filled up and became very popular for the last two months was suddenly deserted, so my suspicion was probably right. Apparently Matlock Bath has just had its population decimated by hoardes of bikers
