MushroomTree · 08/05/2020 23:55

Nazi Zombies.

You have to see it to believe that someone could have made a film that bad.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 08/05/2020 23:55

The Shape Of Fucking Water

Roma

One were Eva Longoria is a ghost

One were Michael Douglas is a ghost

DelphiniumBlue · 08/05/2020 23:56

Just about everything already mentioned, but also The Holiday. Trite, hackneyed and not all funny.
John Wick. I never thought I'd be bored watching Keanu, but it was dreadful. He was emotionless, the script was practically non existent, and the fight scenes were over choreographed, unrealistic and there were too many of them. I like action movies on the whole, but that was one dull film!

lovinglavidaloca · 08/05/2020 23:57

Can’t remember the name but basically a family goes to view a house to buy I think and they get stuck there forever. Every time they try to leave they end up back there. Horrendous.

MonkeyToesOfDoom · 08/05/2020 23:57

I'm evidently not qualified to say because a lot of films already mentioned are great films... My taste is obviously shoddy.

But.. recently I watched the whole Star Wars 9 Film Saga.
Episodes 1-3 were total plop of the ploppiest kind.
Episodes 4-6 were the little golden bits of sweet corn in the plop
Episodes 7-9 were the streaks of plop on the toilet tissue as I wiped thricely, once for bulk, twice for remainder, thrice to polish.

MissOrganized · 08/05/2020 23:58

Once upon a time in Hollywood

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 08/05/2020 23:59

Glad Green Book got a mention

Clunky tedious cliched nonsense which should never have got near the Oscars nevermind be put up and win against Blackkklansman what an embarrassment.

MintyMabel · 09/05/2020 00:00

Snatched with Goldie Hawn and Amy Schumer.

Vanilla sky

The only movie I’ve ever walked out of.

ByzantinePrincess · 09/05/2020 00:02

Jurassic World (the remake) is a silly film which doesn’t make a lot of sense and has some annoying plot holes (and super annoying, rude, ignorant kids)

But then the sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom... oh my goodness. I generally love films and can enjoy almost anything, but what an awful film, makes no sense and is just terrible, awful, rubbish

rayoflightboy · 09/05/2020 00:26

Muriels Wedding , My big Fat Greek Wedding and Bridesmaids are a big pile of wank.I have no idea why they are so popular.

American Hustle, had some great names in the cast.So why was it utter shite. It just didnt gel together for some reason.

EttasEden · 09/05/2020 00:37

The Lobster. What. The. Actual. Fuck?

AgeLikeWine · 09/05/2020 00:38

Star Wars Phantom Menace is the only film I have ever paid to watch, then walked out of before the end. It was just laughably awful, a crap kids movie. I can’t believe some adults take this stuff seriously...

GlummyMcGlummerson · 09/05/2020 00:40

A star is born
La la land

Nothing happens in either film. Soooo boring I can't understand why they both got rave reviews

AwrightDoreenTakeAFuckinDayOff · 09/05/2020 00:41

I love the Happening. I’m drawn to it every time it is on. Not sure why Confused

You want a shite film that is shitier than the shitiest shitey shite?

Society. It is truly terrible. Truly.

I warned you.

Shamoo · 09/05/2020 00:48

Agree with Vanilla Sky, and the English Patient. Both were painful to watch.

I saw a Frankenstein movie back around 1997 and it was so bad that I can still remember the smell of the aftershave of the bloke sitting next to me (not with me) - when I smell it now it makes me shudder

GlummyMcGlummerson · 09/05/2020 00:48

Howling at @MoneyToesOfDoom faeces similes 🤣🤣

SinisterBumFacedCat · 09/05/2020 00:52

Notting Hill

A remake of 4 weddings a funeral without the jokes or weddings or funerals

Cattenberg · 09/05/2020 00:58

Muriel’s Wedding is great! So is The Sixth Sense.

Completely agree about Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Moulin Rouge. Both were self-indulgent nonsense.

I know I’m in a minority, but I couldn’t stand The Social Network. A group of unlikeable characters squabbled and burbled on endlessly about themselves.

Itslookinglikeabeautifulday · 09/05/2020 01:06

Uncut Gems. What a load of shite - well, the first half was, me and DH turned it off halfway through. But critics rave about it.

alltoomuchrightnow · 09/05/2020 01:09

Revolutionary Road

IHaveBrilloHair · 09/05/2020 01:12

Black Swan.

Chienloup · 09/05/2020 01:14

Lord of the Rings - I walked out even though I'd paid a Leicester Square ticket price. It was so gratingly boring, I felt nothing for any of the characters so couldn't give a shit if they got the ring or not.

Alien Resurrection - cinema was packed, so I didn't want to walk out (plus by some bizarre twist of fate my ex and his girlfriend were in the same aisle and I'd have had to shuffle past them). So I spent much of the film trying to work out how many seconds I had left to live if I live an average life span. (Approximately 7200 of which were wasted watching this utter crap).

Wincarnis · 09/05/2020 01:15

La la land
El Topo
Mulholland drive
9 1/2 weeks
L A Confidential
50 shades of rubbish
Bridget Jones Diary - just not funny
Saw
the human centipede

Chocolatear · 09/05/2020 01:16

Love actually
Mama Mia
Truly, madly deeply

acatcalledjohn · 09/05/2020 01:26

The Revenant. A bunch of hairy men in bearskins grunting their way through a snowy landscape.

La La Land I switched off after about 30 mins.

I fell asleep in the cinema during Quantum of Solace so I doubt it was particularly riveting. The Chris Cornell bond theme I really liked though.
