We watched Howard the Duck the other day. Words cannot describe how fucking odd it is.

Also Solaris.

Hedgesfullofbirds · 08/05/2020 22:41

Yes to 'Love Actually' - dire, slushy drivel

'The Devil Wears Prada' - boring, boring, boring! Load of pointless rubbish. Walked out half way through when I was dragged to see it at the cinema

The ' Bridget Jones' films - as above

Many others I could name, but my fingers will get sore through typing too much

RoseMartha · 08/05/2020 22:41

Vanilla sky

bluefoxmug · 08/05/2020 22:41

the english patient - yawn

Oh yes- agree with eyes wide shut! Such a try hard wannabe art film. With the usual sexist/ mysogynistic undertones that Kubrick loved so much

Jojobar · 08/05/2020 22:43

Downsizing. Saw it in the cinema and wanted to ask for a refund it was so bad.

Rocketman was awful.

Alarae · 08/05/2020 22:45

Dead or Alive.

My DH does not have a good taste in films. This was his opening gambit for the first film we ever watched together.

Blibbyblobby · 08/05/2020 22:45

The Lakehouse. Like watching two lumps of teak trying to emote.

Clevererthanyou · 08/05/2020 22:45

But but but Beetlejuice! Sad

All the Harry Potter films, every single one gave me heartburn from the awful acting.

BillHadersNewWife · 08/05/2020 22:46

Just watched Ladylike on Netflix...what a pile of sexist shite. Can't understand how scripts like that get funding!

TwatCat · 08/05/2020 22:46

Mama Mia
Into the woods
Braveheart

Bloody awful.

ChampagneCommunist · 08/05/2020 22:46

The English Patient. Just die already.

AllAboutHallowsEve · 08/05/2020 22:46

The Hustle with Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway. A dire gender swap remake of dirty rotten scoundrels (which is one of my favourite films). I didn't even laugh once.

Agree that The Happening is utter shite.

Robin Hood with Russell Crowe is the only film I've ever walked out of.

PinkSparkleUnicorns · 08/05/2020 22:47

Mother.

I have never in my life seen anything so dreadfu

MsJuniper · 08/05/2020 22:48

Hunger Games
The Notebook

What! No way. And HF is hot in those films!

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 08/05/2020 22:51

@TwatCat forgot about Into the Woods. My friend got ready to leave cause he thought it was over but nope it went on for another hour or so

Kelpie78 · 08/05/2020 22:51

The hollow man (Kevin bacon)
A walk in the clouds (keanu)
The queen of the damned (book great, film appalling).
Some film my ex made me watch about elvis in a nursing home.
Lost in translation
The man who knew too little

CloudPop · 08/05/2020 22:52

Titanic. Actually walked out of the cinema. Appalling.

paradyning · 08/05/2020 22:54

Now Austin Powers is utter shite. Wanted to walk but was stuck in the middle of the row.

MaggieFS · 08/05/2020 22:57

The Road to Wellville.

Must be a good 20 years since it came out but I still remember it being rubbish.

RaraRachael · 08/05/2020 22:57

Mama Mia - utter shite and when they brought out the singalong DVD with subtitles, that was beyond dire.

lucie8881 · 08/05/2020 23:00

The Royal Tennenbaums, really awful and not funny

Meet Joe Black, incredibly boring

AudTheDeepMinded · 08/05/2020 23:14

Open Water is my and Dh's yardstick against which all bad films are measured. We were praying for the sharks to finish them off!

NoWordForFluffy · 08/05/2020 23:15

Mulholland Drive. Tried to be clever. Was achingly dull.

Crash (the one where the couple get turned on by car crashes, not the one with Thandie Newton). Shit idea. Shit film.
