Take your shaming and your doom and gloom somewhere else.

I love the bingo card 😂

I fell spectacularly off the lock down wagon today. Took my daughter up to our yard to do our horses. She went out on a 3 hour hack with a friend (with galloping and jumping logs - which I had banned) and I sat on my arse, drinking tea and gossiping.

It was lush. Sitting in the sun, chatting with friends I hadn’t seen for ages was so nice. Plus, my daughter came back buzzing with a smile on her face that I haven’t seen for a couple of months

Shoot me!

LilacTree1 · 06/05/2020 22:18

Springers but is it banned to exercise a horse? Doesn’t sound like you did anything wrong.

everythingisginandroses · 06/05/2020 22:19

@Smilethoyourheartisbreaking I'll join the queue, then! Grin

BogRollBOGOF · 06/05/2020 22:27

Awesome bingo card Grin

My excessive frivolity for the day was driving the long way back from the supermarket, hedonistically driving via a duel carriageway mainly to exercise the car and rediscover 6th gear after 7 weeks of a weekly trundle to the supermarket, and partly for the joy of driving on a beautiful afternoon and listening to rock music.

I also made an impulse purchase of a frivilous dress in the supermarket purely because it reminded me of Tammy Girl and some dresses I had in the 90s Grin

MinesaPinot · 06/05/2020 22:30

Yaay a new thread - placemarking!

caffeineandchoc · 06/05/2020 22:31

What about “Our grandparents went to war. You’re being asked to sit on a sofa - it’s not that hard.”

Maybe not, but being asked to teach a miniature version of myself with exactly the same shitty attitude is Grin

BogRollBOGOF · 06/05/2020 22:31

Oh and Professor McGonagall would take a common sense approach to the rules, being seen to follow them responsibly, but with a critical sense of logic (telling Peeves that the chandalier unscrews the other way, and enjoying transfiguring the school's statues for action)

RumbaswithPumbaas · 06/05/2020 22:35

Would the “during the war” and “performance clapping on thursdays” dementor be part of the range?

CafetiereCoffee · 06/05/2020 22:38

Anne Frank.

What do I win?

LilacTree1 · 06/05/2020 22:40

Cafetière “ Anne Frank.

What do I win?”

A copy of Victor Frankl.

SummerHouse · 06/05/2020 22:48

So there is sanity. Unless this thread is an elaborate figment of my imagination?

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 06/05/2020 22:50

Ive found my people 😁

savehalloween · 06/05/2020 22:57

I've just skimmed a few threads and think I've got most of these already Grin

RumbaswithPumbaas · 06/05/2020 22:58

Ocado dementor?

Willitneverend · 06/05/2020 23:00

Love the bingo card.

I'm finding the "if you want to go outside then you should pick one of your relatives to DIE" catchphrases. They already have, can I go to the pub now?

fartingsparkles · 06/05/2020 23:02

Thank god for a new thread!! Amazing bingo card!

Has there actually been reference to 'lomf'? Can well believe it unfortunately. I think the dementors would love the idea that that's why people are struggling as it would feed into all their 'you're only being asked to sit on the sofa' thing. I am doing very little sitting anywhere, with an 8 year old homeschooling, and keeping a teething toddler occupied, when trying to keep the house vaguely half decent, with nobody else around to talk to.

YgritteSnow · 06/05/2020 23:02

That bingo card properly made me laugh Grin

Well done OP.

GlummyMcGlummerson · 06/05/2020 23:08

Superb!

Noooblerooble · 06/05/2020 23:16

Thank goodness for this thread. I have been browsing the last one and feeling so relieved.

Noooblerooble · 06/05/2020 23:17

The bingo card is amazing but it's missing 'there will never EVER be a vaccine.'

The number of times I've read that on here.

TitianaTitsling · 06/05/2020 23:20

What about DON'T LOOK AT FUCKING LADYBIRDS!! or you as a toddler will kill all those over 70 in a 25 m radius of you?

Willow2017 · 06/05/2020 23:27

New one earlier today.
"If lockdown eases on Monday its just MURDER"

Think i have seen every one of that list on here! Getting bloody tiresome now.

Alsohuman · 06/05/2020 23:31

Wow, check this gem out:

Honestly the people who are doing dont gove a shot if they get it and die or live but could kill 10 people by spreading it around so yeah continue on your merry way with your head up your arse because you dont care about saving loved ones or maybe you might have already given them a death sentence enjoy your sad lives and I will continue to keep my family a safe as I can from ppl like that

Springersrock · 06/05/2020 23:32

@LilacTree1 - riding wasn’t banned, but the BHS “strongly advised“ we didn’t put pressure on the NHS. I didn’t want to be that parent who rocked up at A&E with a broken child in the middle of a pandemic so DD did carry on riding, but I had stopped her from doing anything too Ricky.
