@trappedsincesundaymorn: yes that's a particularly unpleasant one isn't it. It makes me want to list all the people in my life who've died but I can't even do that to vent my frustration because then I sink to their level in the Top Trumps of death and misery.

My theory is that loads of these people were in an exhausting frenzy of Improving Activities for themselves and their dcs before this, and are financially secure,so relishing downtime.

Whereas I am a slapdash and relaxed mother normally and really loved my chilled pre lockdown life 😃

A friend of mine has cancer so is shielding - she is really fed up and posted on fb how she's missing her adult children etc and said she can't wait til there is a vaccine

They could also be those who used to feed a whole family with a chicken - would be similarly virtuous and stingy

People [selfishly shopping more than once a blue month] will trash the gains that have been made by the lockdown then we will end up in another lockdown which will have stricter rules and we will end up with the nightingales getting filled up - maybe then they'll be happy as it 'will have been worth building'. I despair.

They must lead very sad, boring little lives to be so invested in what everyone else is doing to the extent they are. All that frothing and 'should I report my neighbour/friend/colleague?' Who to? There seems to be a particular sort of Mumsnetter who thinks 'reporting' stuff is the solution to everything. Ugh, nasty, spiteful, inadequate people.
Tomorrow I am going out. I am going to the post office. I am going to buy stuff (maybe only two items, maybe not) and then I am going to sit on a bench and drink my water. Come and arrest me, I dare you!
