Thanks betty. The price has come down on Amazon too. It was £34 the other weekShock.

Have ordered one. Doing an old one now and am swapping the one I’ve just finished with a friend from work. So those should keep me going for a while.

My Bizarre Bookshop arrived from amazon yesterday. So that’s this week sortedGrin

I finally finished this one in the early hours. Usually I do the edge pieces first but I couldn’t get them to match on the sides so the middles of the left and right sides were the last pieces I put in. The whole jigsaw was a nightmare though and I nearly gave up a number of times, the colour reproduction wasn’t brilliant so it was hard to match the pieces to the picture on the box, and there were so many varying shades of green.

That's a beautiful picture, MadisonAvenue. 😍
I've been looking at all the lovely jigsaws posted on here since the thread started but needed to finish knitting my mum's birthday present before I could risk losing hours to a puzzle.
I made a start on this one yesterday.

latedecember1963 It’s a subscription one. I signed up for it when jigsaws were going for stupid prices a few months ago, they come monthly at £12.99 from a company in Devon who make them.

Thank you, MadisonAvenue. I've looked up the company and made a note of it.
I swap puzzles with my MiL so when we are allowed to meet up again I'll see if she fancies going halves.

Anyone still puzzling?

My daughters and I have been attempting the same Christmas puzzle every year for years and failing every year so I scrapped it and ordered a different one for this year and the puzzle board thing and we’ve made loads of progress today. Only 500 pieces to start us off.

The cats keep coming and lying all over the puzzle on the board though Grin

So many good puzzle recommendations on here, thanks!

Do people normally find if they buy them from charity shops the pieces are all there? Nothing would irk me more than a missing piece. I always wonder why they don’t put a weight on the box so you can quickly check!
