Today's special is eggs.

Boiled, fried, poached, coddled, convent, I might even do scotch eggs.

Tea and coffee as always and toast of course.

Was looking forward to my only day with a lie in. Ex BF has drifted back into my life and he's woken me with his snoring!! Think I'll sit in this winged back chair

OK I'm going to leave the doors open and the hot drinks are now in insulated jugs. I'm probably not going to be back until the morning, enjoy the cafe.

Anybody for a fresh brownie and freshly brewed coffee? Today trying to work from home is sucking the life out of it me.

Oh yes. Fresh brownie would be lovely. Great thing about this cafe is things which were fresh out of the oven 3 hours ago still are ! Oh lovely and warm still. Thank you.

Morning all, thanks for sweeping up and washing up.

Hot drinks are brewing, as there is still a brownie or two I think today's breakfast will be cakes, buns and muffins.

I feel we are all ready for a sugar rush.

A nice sugary breakfast with a mug of tea would really hit the spot right now - ill baby up since midnight. You're open early today.

Tonight is bad- baby won't be put down and won't stop comforting. I thought the four month sleep regression was over 😢

I didn't even notice the string coffee! But then I couldn't find my glasses so am squinting at my phone in a very mole-like fashion.
I remember the 4 month sleep regression, although I thought I'd dodged it. It arrived for us at 5 1/2 months.

String coffee = either fancy pants artisan £100 a cup kind of thing, or when there is no coffee in the shops ( the cafe will always have coffee of course) and I have boiled a bit of old twine to try and make a brew.
