What's the heaviest/lightest you have been as an adult, what are you now...

and at what point would you say that generally you were happiest with life in general?
I'll go first. I was lightest in my late twenties at 9st 4lb, I'd split up with a boyfriend and had then been ill with a vomiting bug, I was miserable. I was heaviest after the birth of my third child, 13 st 6lb. Funnily enough I can't remember feeling bothered by that (too busy keeping other humans alive!). It's taken over 4 years but I am now at 11 st. I suppose what I'm realising is is that although I think I'd like to be 9st something again, it doesn't really equate to personal happiness does it? and cakes can bring great joy...

Lightest: Up to age 24 (first pregnancy) 9 and half stone at 5ft 8 size 8.

Heaviest: Age 46 - 18 stone 2lb. Size 22 (4 more DC + undiagnosed hypothyroidism)

Now age 48: 14 stone 2lb. Size 14/16. Slowly moving in the right direction!

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 13/02/2020 15:49

Lightest- mid thirties 6 st 7ibs. Usually around 7st during 20s and 30s.
Heaviest 10st at the end of first pregnancy.
Now about 9st or a bit less. Would like to be about half a stone lighter.

StandardPoodle · 13/02/2020 18:28

5' 5". Lightest adult weight just under 8 stone until pregnant with DC1.
Heaviest 10st 2lbs immediately before giving birth.
Now just over 8 stone (in my 60s) and very happy with my weight.

Hoolajerry · 13/02/2020 18:35

I'm 5ft 6 (or was!). Think my lightest was late teens at 9 st 2. Heaviest probably around 11st. My natural weight is 10st 4. I'd like to be 9 st 10 but if I go under 10st 4 I'm ravenous all the time and struggle to lose anything. Don't have too much trouble putting it on though!

BriefDisaster · 13/02/2020 18:42

Im 5'6 and at my lightest was 6st 12 (extreme dieting).

My heaviest was 10st 4 when pregnant and my 'happy weight' is anything between 8.5 and 9st. Currently nearer the top of that but ok with it.

SimonJT · 13/02/2020 18:46

I’m six foot and a teeny tiny bit, I’m 92kg at the minute, my heaviest was 102kg when I was still playing rugby. The lightest as an adult was around 73kg, I had an active ED for a longtime which had a huge impact on my weight.

Greenandcabbagelooking · 13/02/2020 18:51

I'm 5 feet 7.

Heaviest - 10 stone by the end of university
Lightest - 8 stone 2 when I cam home from a very active event in a hot place with lots of walking and tiny portions of food.
Now - 9 stone 2, after coming off medication that killed my appetite
Happiest - 8 stone 10

MunchyMunchkin · 13/02/2020 18:51

5ft 8 heaviest was close to 100kg, got down to 69kg before this pregnancy.
Have put on 10kg and hoping this is mostly pregnancy related rather than fat.
I would like to be 67kg to have a BMI of 22 as my research suggests that is best in terms of health. Under 70kg and I’m happy.

Blankiefan · 13/02/2020 19:00

Heaviest seven months ago when I was 16 stone 12.

Lightest today at 11 stone 9. I don't remember ever being this weight.

I've been big forever but appear to be on the right path now. I'm 44.

lifeonaloop · 13/02/2020 19:04

Heaviest was roughly 8st
Lightest was 4 years ago when I was poorly 5.2st
I now weigh 7st 8.

I'm 5"1

onlyhereforthefood · 13/02/2020 19:04

I'm 5'9

I was 5st at my lightest and 12st at my heaviest

Around 8 and a half stone now and aiming to gain up to a healthy BMI

AmazingGreats · 13/02/2020 19:05

I've been down to 7 stone 5, I looked like I was dying (I wasn't but I was very ill at the time)
My heaviest I was 14 stone 7 so nearly double my lightest, due to pregnancy and medication I ballooned.
Just under 13 stone now, I want to be 9 stone 7, which is my new perfect weight following having kids. I have health problems at this weight which is a big motivator. I have been unwell at every weight, though, just not through weight related conditions

Bunnylady54 · 13/02/2020 19:08

Heaviest was 13 stone & at just over 5ft 2” that’s pretty hefty. I was heading for a size 20. The lightest I can remember was around 8 & a half stone but I didn’t feel well & couldn’t maintain that weight. I have broad shoulders & wide hips so will never be a skinny minny. My ideal weight is probably around 9.5 - 10 stone. I’m 11 stone at the mo cos I’m drinking too much, therefore snacking more 😔

IHaveBrilloHair · 13/02/2020 19:13

Heaviest, probably around 9 stone when pregnant 19 years ago.
Lightest now, 6 stone 12.

RitaMills · 13/02/2020 19:14

Heaviest - 13.4
Lightest - 7.8 (Crohn's flare)

5’0 and I’m 8.8 just now and I’d say I’m happiest at around 8.4, and I get really unhappy if I reach around the 9st mark.

IHaveBrilloHair · 13/02/2020 19:15

I don't look ill, or like I'm dying!

puppymouse · 13/02/2020 19:22

Age 40 and 12st. At SW trying to get closer to 11. Lightest weight was 8st 12 after I got married. Hadn't been that light since I was a child under 10. Was desperately unhappy and everyone who'd known me heavier was patronising and foul to me.

Happiest 11-12st but am 5ft 7ish with long arms and legs so can carry a bit of weight and not look instantly chunky. I saw a picture of myself recently and thought I definitely need to watch my jawline if I lose weight now as I don't look my age but definitely get aged by less full face.

puppymouse · 13/02/2020 19:22

Heaviest 15st 5 after having DD.

HuckfromScandal · 13/02/2020 19:29

Heaviest 13 stone - drinking eating and unhappy
Lightest 10 stone - breakup weight loss
Now 10.10 pretty happy with that.
46 perimenopausal but fit and active

HuckfromScandal · 13/02/2020 19:30

Oh I’m 5-11

Natsku · 13/02/2020 19:36

I'm 5'3" and the lightest was 45kg when I was 25 and was losing weight for some unknown reason (lots of tests done but the reason wasn't discovered), heaviest was 70 something kilos when I was pregnant with my second child. Now (at 33) I'm hovering around 60kg (trying to lose weight to get to 55kg which would be the ideal weight for my height but not worrying too much as I'm a healthy weight now in any case)

NightsOfCabiria · 13/02/2020 19:37

Lots of interesting stories detailing the link between mood, situation and weight.

I’m 5’6” and a half and weigh 10 st 7lbs.

At my lightest I was 9st 4lbs my thirties as the man I’d moved 200 miles to be with dumped me for his cousin. Shock

At my heaviest I was 12st 8lbs at 45. Perimenopausal and on the wrong HRT. No sleep at all and using food to get by. Awful.

I’d like to be around 9st 12lbs by summer. I just feel happier and healthier when I’m slimmer as everything is so easy. You feel better, enjoy exercise, have more energy, clothes look great etc..

No amount of cake is worth carting round a roll of fat.

hopefulhalf · 13/02/2020 19:41

Like a PP have been within 15kg all my adult life.
Lightest was 54kg (8st 7)
Heaviest excluding pregnancy 67kg

Have been 58-60 (9st 4-7) for at least 5 years.
Gives me a BMI of 21-22
Tend to weigh less April- Sept and a bit more Oct- March
Am 5'5" or 165

hopefulhalf · 13/02/2020 19:44

Happiest around my wedding at 54kg although I'm not sure that is realistic at 44.
Ideally like to be 56-57kg.
I am happy enough.
69kg was a stressful job and marital difficulties.

feelingverylazytoday · 13/02/2020 19:47

I'm 5'4" . Lightest weight - 7st 7lbs in my early 20s. Heaviest - 14 st 13 lbs nine years ago. I'm 10 stone now, ideally I'd like to lose a few more pounds, but fitness is most important to me. I like wearing vest tops in the summer and I like my arms and shoulders to look toned.
