Will he wander past Mhor Cottage several times a day so that he can keep an eye on the progress of the patio?

Will Mr. Mhor's measurements turn out to be wrong? And will Mustress Mhor and her DH have too many SLABS as a result?

If they do, what will they do with them?

Will the eggs be dippy tomorrow?

I am happy to report that Mr Hippo seems to be aware of the error of his ways.

When I was taking the girls to afternoon sporting events, he made LittleBoyHippo have a bath, clean the bath tub and clean his football booths (I am way to soft, I do this for LittleBoyHippo). Mr Hippo also just poured me a large glass of wine. He is forgiven for the intentionally winding me up!!

BigGirlHippo and LittleHippo both found their daddy’s texts hilarious and teased me about it though.... maybe they can make me a cup of tea in the morning...?

Am planning roast chicken dinner with the trimmings. Baking a Victoria sponge and settling down to the semis of skating on ice later.

Have NO energy this week, so annoying. I think I have a cold or something. And the flat is an absolute mess after the weekend.

Will have a lemsip and try to get stuck into the washing... and marinate some chicken if I get some energy back (thank you for the idea cutting).

How is your ear Mustress?

Hippo, my ear is all right again, God be praised.

This evening we had a very splendid fish pie.

I will have chocolate peanuts for pudding, I think.

The Robbing Butcher has been shut all day.

Maybe he’s seen the error of his ways and is buying Steak Mhor?

He was shut again today.

So having confused me for the whole of last week by being open when I expected him to be shut, he is now being intransigent in the opposite direction by being shut when I expect him to be shut.

I do wonder if he reads this thread and is trying to out-fox me.

It is most odd, Mustress. First closing unexpectedly, then unexpectedly closing expectedly.

Nicola Sturgeon has not announced this so I do not believe the Robbing Butcher is affected.

I shall report tomorrow WRT whether or not he is open.

Oh, and I had a look at the latest H & M thread.

It seems to be conciliatory at the moment.

I'm avoiding articles etc anything to do with those who shall not be named.

I'm not just surviving without news of them - I'm thriving!

The Robbing butcher is getting increasingly mysterious!!!

I went to the pharmacy this morning to get some calpol. They were sold out on 6+ . Am going out again to try another pharmacy. This is crazy.

Also picking up chicken. I am planning a roast chicken soup (bones boiled for at least 4 hours for this evening). I have promised BigGirlHippo (11) to teach her how to make quick bread rolls to go with it. Am really excited about that .

Hmm.

It seems that I may have been eating just a leetle bit more than is strictly-speaking necessary. Certainly enough to have slowed my weight loss.

In fact, to have reversed my weight loss so that now, I am gaining weight again.

This is all due to the Robbing Butcher and his delicious wares.

Mr. Mhor has also suggested that the Mhor finances cannot take the increased costs of breakfasting daily on the RB's delicacies.

Mr. Mhor is right. The Mhors are getting poorer and The Mustress is definitely getting fatter.

So, with a heavy heart, I have started my Healthy Eating Plan again.

Mr. Mhor is quite happy to eat Co-Op bacon and black pudding. Also Co-Op eggs.

He has no class.

Oh, and in case anyone has logged on to this very interesting thread just to find out whether or not the RB was open today - he was.

I can report the world has gone quite mad with Coronaviramania. I plan to hunker down with some hot soup and a warm blanket until it all blows over.

Mustress I have also regained my January loss in February, commiserations!

Commiserations to everyone being fatter... I can feel your pain.

I am wondering whether I will ever be able to lose the weight I gained over the past two years (about 14 pounds) or if I just should give up . Problem is that I cannot really squeeze into a lot of my clothes. The rest are.... tight . But I hate diets... thoughts anyone?
