Shall I have another glass of sherry?

Or risk the pink gin (just to get rid of it.)

GracefulHippo I don't recall seeing it, just tried a search but nothing comes up.
I'm a moderate nerd, unless it's about Star Trek - then I transform into a mega nerd, which is OK.

yolofish · 25/01/2020 21:30

Love The Crown.

Never watched GoT and dont intend to.

Planning to watch Cobra on some Sky channel. Also loved that Walter thing about East Germany. 'Enjoying' White House Farm.

Got more Wine now!

TheMustressMhor · 25/01/2020 21:30

I am almost dreading something occurring which would mean we migrate to Thread Fourteen.

yolofish · 25/01/2020 21:30

TheMustressMhor · 25/01/2020 21:31

7Worfs · 25/01/2020 21:31

Mustress Another sherry if I were you. Grin

Wendy Good point about Sansa, in fact the Stark arc turned out fine except for Bran.

yolofish · 25/01/2020 21:32

Is White House Farm on the ITV Hub?

OVienna · 25/01/2020 21:33

Yes I saw that Yoloi
I really don't want them to come along here...

yolofish · 25/01/2020 21:33

bugger hit return too soon. sorry mustress your question is above my skill level (but yes I would think so)

TheMustressMhor · 25/01/2020 21:34

I must apologise to ilovejeff from page one.

Yes, of course budgies are worth discussing.

I am inordinately fond of budgies.

Co-op selling reduced price haggis pizza today. We’re all traditionalists in our village (Scotland).

yolofish · 25/01/2020 21:44

Can I add chickens? We've had chickens for about 10 years, then a 15 month gap while life shit got in the way. Dec 14 I got a new batch of rescue chooks, who have settled in very well and are feathering up very nicely, and laying despite appalling weather. Photo of arrival day.

TheMustressMhor · 25/01/2020 21:53

Those chickens are splendid, yolo.

I think you alluded to them as "cocky" on the last thread.

OP posts:
yolofish · 25/01/2020 22:15

I did mustress! none of them can actually physically be cocky as they are all layers from a 'free range' farm (look at the state of them and consider that free range doesnt actually mean that much). But one in particular is the smallest, baldest and loudest and the keenest to escape from Hensington Palace, which comprises a very posh eglu cube, 12 sqm indoor space with covered roof, and roughly the same again outdoors which has no covered roof but is wired over for biosecurity.

Spoilt chooks!!

ilovejeffgoldblum · 25/01/2020 23:18

No worries mustress , may I suggest topping pink gin up with lemonade and fruit as a cocktail to finish it off , has worked for me in the past 😘

Ness1234 · 25/01/2020 23:18

I have loved all these threads and just found time to say so! Sorry, I didn’t speak up earlier

ilovejeffgoldblum · 25/01/2020 23:20

Picture of lazy buggers ! , have drunk too much wine to comment on anything sensible !

ilovejeffgoldblum · 25/01/2020 23:22

Ness I read all but didn't comment till I felt a poster was being a goady pain!

Ness1234 · 25/01/2020 23:24

Yes, I think I know who you were referring to!

ilovejeffgoldblum · 25/01/2020 23:25

😉

ilovejeffgoldblum · 25/01/2020 23:27

I'm sadly watching Star Trek beyond ! After watching other two yesterday .

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 25/01/2020 23:27

When my headache finally goes I shall be joining you all on the wine/sherry/not gin.

I shared a link to my favourite sherry on the other thread, it's a 30 yr old pale cortado by Gonzalez Byass. Lovely stuff, I've been carting it back from the duty free in Malaga only to find this year it's cheaper in Waitrose. I'm no sherry snob, I can also happily sink a Harvey's Bristol Cream. I love sherry glasses too, there's something very "vicarage" about them.

I also dipped into thread 13, unlucky for some, and it had descended into a moaning session between a few posters about how awful the thread had become. Funny that.

Just popping over to yolo's thread to tip them off about a DM article about Doria. Wink

Ness1234 · 25/01/2020 23:28

I’m looking forward to the discussion about their next moves, H and M and atm chatting about in my case our dog and our food. I can always talk about food!

ilovejeffgoldblum · 25/01/2020 23:29

Oh my in need a link or title , I missed new thread !
