I discovered Thread 16 by accident and read it.

Nobody has been buried under the patio - yet.

Dinner was lamb chops, chips and mushrooms. Yum.

I have now hidden Thread 16.

Bonne nuit.

What did Melissana say? She’s been deleted on both threads!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 06/02/2020 23:02

yolofish · 07/02/2020 07:56

7Worfs · 07/02/2020 07:58

This thread is nearing its end Sad

Will Cousin Matthew and the Robbing Butcher ride again?

TheMustressMhor · 07/02/2020 10:58

Good morning all.

Mr. Mhor is busily producing his extra-special breakfast as I type this.

I had to go to the pharmacy anyway so I went past the Robbing Butcher's shop and decided to get some of his delectable square sausage and Stornoway black pudding.

Usually we only have a cooked breakfast at the weekend but I just fancied one this morning.

It keeps Mr. Mhor occupied, anyway, as he cannot start the PATIO until tomorrow, when his assistant will be available.

Does everyone want another thread? I am sure that you will be interested in finding out how the patio construction goes.

And also to discover if Mr. Mhor keeps up his new standard of eggs-cellent dippy eggs.

I bet it was a one-off

That's very good!

ThumbWitchesAbroad · 07/02/2020 15:19

We had a nice turkey stir fry tonight, courtesy of Mr Thumb.
Also treated to a nice bit of tantrumming by both Mr Thumb and the 12yo DS who is very hormonal - had Words with both of them, but especially Mr Thumb as he has no business behaving like a tantrumming child just because 12yo Mr Hormonal is.

Mustress - I feel I know that you used to be someone I knew before, now that you've mentioned your many-repeating messages - was it due to the twatphone?

Yolo - I like the rusted van idea! I do hope you can move it in front of CF Neighbour's gate. That would be very poetic!

My current bingewatch is Dirk Gently and the Holistic Detective Agency on Netflix - the one with Frodo in it. Am on season 2 now so it's nearly done, but really enjoying it. Did a massive binge re-watch of Grimm over Christmas, and got Mr Hormonal into it - and halfway through got a message that it would be removed from Aussie Netflix on Jan 5th Shock. No way were we going to get to the end before then, so I ended up buying the complete DVD set - and now the 7yo is into watching it, so we're rewatching it again. Not entirely sure it's qualifies as good parenting to allow the 7yo to be watching it but he's into the supernatural, Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and so on and despite the gruesomeness, it doesn't seem to be a whole lot worse than those.

Hello all, glad you like FrogMhor Cottage.

Great to see you here @ThumbWitchesAbroad

I’m currently un-thriving, which isn’t a word but should be. Have a few very important concerns at the moment that I have to deal with and feel quite down. Sorry not to have anything cheerier to report.

yolofish · 07/02/2020 17:21

aw dandy have a Gin? Friday after all. Hope it all gets sorted soon. I am off to DM online, as fleas tells me the Sussexes did a corporate gig last night for JP Morgan. International corporate banks being great for the world 'n all...

FelicityFebruary · 07/02/2020 18:29

Thumb Dirk Gently is a blast from the past. How does it compare with the original, do you know? I'm away to check Netflix.

No cooking this evening but a takeaway curry is on order.

A felicitous Friday to all you survivors and thrivers. Best of luck and hang on in there Dandy.

7Worfs · 07/02/2020 19:23

Dandy hope all gets sorted soon! Cake Brew

I'm barely surviving today, but it's trivial - I've reached peak baby and am hoping DH will step in tomorrow, because I need a few baby-free hours to regain sanity.

Dinner was chicken koftas.

Now to catch up with the H&M thread.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/02/2020 19:48

I am surviving having had a busy day preparing for a winter sun escape. Tomorrow I should be packing but I think I will most likely be out in the garden frantically fastening things down ready for storm conditions.

Cruise company wants to know if we have transited Hong Kong in the last two months (Coronavirus precautions). Well yes, and they should know that, since we were guests of theirs at the time. If I'm confined to my cabin for the next two weeks, I shall definitely not be thriving.

7Worfs · 07/02/2020 20:23

Mischief you'll leave us for some sunny holiday? Shock
Where are you cruising off to?

DandyAF · 07/02/2020 20:30

Thank you for well wishes Smile I have a million meetings next week to sort things out.

Worfs if we lived near each other (no idea if we do) I’d be right round to hold the baby for you. I miss them!!

fleas you were cruising not that long ago and you’re going again? Nice! What is being on a cruise like? I’ve never done it.

7Worfs · 07/02/2020 20:35

Dandy Unfortunately we are not near, I moved out of London at the end of pregnancy, am now a happy house owner up sticks in Lincolnshire.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/02/2020 20:49

Caribbean this time, DandyAF, in November we were visiting some of the islands of Indonesia. We don't usually have two big holidays so close together but one had been postponed. Nothing else lined up so this could be it for a while.

My requirements are simple, small ship, no casino or climbing wall or other razzmatazz, just good food, friendly crew, interesting itinerary and a nice quiet spot on deck where I can sit with Mr Fleas reading my kindle and looking out at the sea life.

DandyAF · 07/02/2020 20:49
7Worfs · 07/02/2020 21:08

That sounds perfect, Mischief.

I'm totally going to do it once baby is out the door fending for himself in about 17 to 22 years tops.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 07/02/2020 21:54

It is the spiritual home over the over 60s 7worfs Grin

yolofish · 07/02/2020 22:31

oh fleas have a fab time!

7worfs dont rely on them buggering off in 17-22 years time . The buggers keep coming back!
