A thread intended for menus, cats and idle chit-chat.

I don't think any of us foresaw the idea of MrMhor being imaginary being suggested

😂😂😂

It really was a bitchy little post.

But yes the rest of the Bingo Card is coming on well. I’m glad as a group we managed to get the egg puns going. And I did a hurrah of triumph when I saw the “just imagine this the other way round and the OP was a man” post.

@BabySharksMummyShark I’m very happy you enjoyed my gaslighting post 😘

Cinders really glad to hear that DS is home (I think) Teenage mental health is really tough on all the family.

BabySharksMummyShark · 01/02/2020 20:59

It really made me chuckle 😘😂

Bitchy is the right word! Im glad they were ignored!

DandyAF · 01/02/2020 21:08

Yes I’m glad they were ignored too. There were a couple of posts that I thought were far too harsh, and one calling poor MrM “a cunt” ShockGrin
You’re a brave woman @TheMustressMhor , I hope you’re OK?

TheMustressMhor · 02/02/2020 09:14

Great Heavens, Patriots!

I must hasten to the fried egg thread and see what calumnies have been laid at Mr. Mhor's door. Or at mine, rather.

OP posts:
TheMustressMhor · 02/02/2020 09:31

Poor Mr. Mhor - to be thought of as imaginary - I am shocked.

He is busily cooking my breakfast as I type this.

Then he will get busy in his garden.

Sudden thought - I shall have to wash up!

Oh well. You can't make an omelette, as they say...………..

(the omelette being the patio in this case and the egg-breaking being me having to wash up this morning Hmm)

I have to say that the Paving Slab Debacle Calculation thread has caused me a good deal of amusement.

OP posts:
BabySharksMummyShark · 02/02/2020 10:19

I havent got to that thread yet, is worth a read?

TheMustressMhor · 02/02/2020 10:22

Is it worth a read

Ha-di-ha.

IT HAS ITS MOMENTS

OP posts:
BabySharksMummyShark · 02/02/2020 10:25

Thanks for the link! I will toddle over now and have a look!

TheMustressMhor · 02/02/2020 10:45

and one calling poor MrM “a cunt”

Oh well.

I sometimes do that myself, Dandy.

OP posts:
TheMustressMhor · 02/02/2020 13:31

Sooooo………...……...………………

I have poured myself a glass of sherry.

Mr. Mhor and his assistant are in the front garden, preparing the patio area.

It seems to be much more complicated than either of them thought.

Mr. Mhor has sent me out for emergency beer and intimated that we will have to pay the assistant a lot more than we had planned.

I don't mind. The pair of them are working so hard and I am watching.

Sybaritic bliss, eh?

I shall start the dinner soon. Pot-roasted beef with saute potatoes.

Yum Yum.

I even did the ironing this morning.

OP posts:
BabySharksMummyShark · 02/02/2020 13:44

Oh dear the patio is turning out to be quite traumatic!

At least you get to sit and watch 😂

Dinner sounds lovely! We are having chicken curry

TheMustressMhor · 02/02/2020 14:50

Fucksake now we apparently need to hire a "small" skip.

I am losing the will to live.

OP posts:
yolofish · 02/02/2020 16:59

sorry mustress for your trauma.

I am surviving after sitting down with DH to try and watch something on some Sky channel which needs to be downloaded. This is very traumatic, and the fact that it wont download quickly enough is the fault of both me and DD1 who are apparently hogging the internet.

Anyway he's dozed off and I have wine...

yolofish · 02/02/2020 17:20

Thread 15 is pissing me off again, with the nitpickers and the "you said this x million threads ago..." malarkey.

Thing is, there's enough real life shit going on, is there a reason why we have to have the moral rectitude police telling us we can't discuss a particular event/events which do have an effect on public life?

7Worfs · 02/02/2020 17:55

Right on, yolo, I hope your post sobered them up.

We had chicken with rice and veg.

I have stepped back from Thread 15 for a bit till everybody puts their handbag down. I'm not sure I've got anything left to say.

In other news, Little Women was a jolly good watch last week. We had front row seats in the circle. Slightly alarming finding our way to them with no lighting and I may have inadvertently groped a few aisle sitters on the way down.

Tomorrow's offering is David Copperfield and wine will be taken. I will also avoid the temptation to smuggle in cheap supermarket nibbles because we want our little independent cinema to stay in business so will pay for their exorbitantly priced snacks as a gesture of goodwill.

On balance, thriving.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 02/02/2020 19:14

Sorry Dandy to see you've had such a hard day. Thanks

Will your puppy reward you with cuddles to make up for being a PITA?

DandyAF · 02/02/2020 19:14

ALSO also, some dickhead with exactly the same name as me on the ‘Lose 7lbs in Feb’ thread committed me to joining WW and starting a diet tomorrow.

7Worfs · 02/02/2020 19:16

Aw, Dandy Flowers
I hope that on balance the trip was good though.

Mischief I learned to read on a copy of David Copperfield, very fond of the book.

yolofish · 02/02/2020 19:25

sorry, but I have never been able to stand Dickens (Bleak House and fucking Jarndyce&Jarndyce for A level). See also Jane Austen and Thomas Hardy. Really apologise! but also feel the same about any period costume drama on film or tv

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 02/02/2020 19:42

Dickens I can do without but DH is a big fan. I love Jane Austen, could and do read her over and over again. It's hard to believe that Colin Firth's Mr Darcy graced our screens 25 years ago. Still unsurpassed in my view.
