Is it wrong that I now see your name as "Mischief"?

So wrong it's right GrinGrinGrin

CatherineOfAragonsPomegranate · 28/01/2020 15:16

I have a wood burner but it also keeps the central heating going so is rather hard work
And as it is a range type one you can cook on it

That sounds so romantic @Cindershasoddshoes (imagines cooking custard on wood burner in cold snowy evenings)

@ilovejeffgoldblum I will buy you custard. Better custard than Morrrisons. I will upgrade to Marks and Sparks if you want...(I have no idea if M&S is better or not)

CleansUpDragonPoo · 28/01/2020 15:16

Never before thought about having custard alongside the cake. Never. I found custard goes well with most things, CatherineOfAragorn, I lived on it for about a week after dental surgery recently.

Checking etiquette here before using @name, advise please frightened after overly vocal H&M thread police weighed in

Cindershasoddshoes · 28/01/2020 15:18

I’m going to have to make custard later
My mum bought me some last time she came to visit

I’m in a custard free country

ilovejeffgoldblum · 28/01/2020 15:18

LaMarschallin · 28/01/2020 15:18

Michf Smile

My ex FiL was sent some cheese at Christmas.
While the big family gathering was present-opening, a ghastly smell began to waft its way betwixt and between everyone...

The relief on everyone's faces when it turned out just to be the cheese... Smile

It tasted delicious.

ilovejeffgoldblum · 28/01/2020 15:20

That's a real bummer cinders!

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/01/2020 15:20

Sorry to hear your trials cinders. I agree, start a thread and you'll get loads of the right sort of support.

LaMarschallin · 28/01/2020 15:20

Is it wrong that I now see your name as "Mischief"?

So wrong it's right

Excellent!

TheMustressMhor · 28/01/2020 15:24

Where is this custard-free country, so that I can avoid it?

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/01/2020 15:25

DragonPoo It is bad MN etiquette to use @ to target and harangue posters to disagree with them, or to shout them down.

Other than that, knock yourself out.

TheMustressMhor · 28/01/2020 15:28

Harangue posters to disagree with them

Hmm

Where have I seen that lately?

OP posts:
CatherineOfAragonsPomegranate · 28/01/2020 15:30

I must admit I use the @ as a shortcut to copying and pasting!Blush

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/01/2020 15:31

At the risk of starting a stampede Aldi will be selling their very excellent electric blankets on Thursday for a mere £17.99. Just putting it out there...

TheMustressMhor · 28/01/2020 15:32

No citizens should live in a country without custard

OP posts:
CatherineOfAragonsPomegranate · 28/01/2020 15:32

Yes please! @TheMustressMhor

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 28/01/2020 15:32

I don't like custard.

TheMustressMhor · 28/01/2020 15:33

Fucksake fleas how did we get from custard to electric blankets?

Although, why not?

Yes - why not, indeed.

OP posts:
TheMustressMhor · 28/01/2020 15:34

EVERYBODY

Fleas doesn't like custard

OP posts:
WendyMoiraAngelaDarling · 28/01/2020 15:40

Custard is absolutely disgusting Envy

Fresh single pouring cream is the only possible option for crumbles and pies.

And don't get me started on the cop out dessert that is bananas and custard! I'd want to cry when that was the school dinner pudding I'm not exaggerating.

CatherineOfAragonsPomegranate · 28/01/2020 15:40

I can't hear you Myimaginarycathasfleas

Speak up! What was that about not liking custard?Angry

LaMarschallin · 28/01/2020 15:41

Please may I have Mischief's custard then?

Because I like it and also because she told us about cheap electric blankets (I live in a cold house).
