Has anybody got any weird things that usual people find normal but make you feel v uncomfortable. Mine are I hate dripping water or the feeling of wet cardboard or toilet paper. It makes me cringe wholeheartedly, No idea why.

if somebody has dropped a bit of toilet paper (clean!) on the bathroom floor and you don't notice then tread on it and it ends up in your bath, icky clingy horrible stuff floating around.

SkullCharm · 24/01/2020 22:01

Potatos or other veg that have grown eyes/roots.

It makes me cry Blush

Bensmum1982 · 24/01/2020 22:01

Things like dried oxo cube or baby formula on damp fingers. Envy

almostfreeatlast · 24/01/2020 22:05

My partners nose touching me actually makes me want to cry

nosleepisevident · 24/01/2020 22:06

@Bensmum1982 oh I agree. Especially with the formula one

lucysmam · 24/01/2020 22:08

Mashed potatoes

Bleurgh.

I hate mashed potato day at work (dinner lady & starting in the kitchen next week). Everyone laughs at me for it.

They're just sooooo wrong texture wise

Bellyfullofbiscuits · 24/01/2020 22:08

People , flicking toes , sitting next to me ,urgh

BillyAndTheSillies · 24/01/2020 22:09

Dirty cutlery in the dishwasher, can't touch it even if I've just used it.

I have acrylics on my nails now because I can't bear the feel of my nails when they're wet.

Yoghurt. It's just gone off milk.

Getting in to a bath that's still wet from the person before.

Ironing stripy shirts. My MIL thinks I'm an awful wife because I won't iron DH's shirts. Piss off, it gives me a migraine. He can iron his own.

mawbroon · 24/01/2020 22:09

Bobbly knitwear

Bellyfullofbiscuits · 24/01/2020 22:09

Orchids , their roots , yuk !!!

PastaSauceHoarder · 24/01/2020 22:10

@SkullCharm Yes to the potato eyes! Makes me feel sick, they end up looking so alien. 😷

SuperMeerkat · 24/01/2020 22:11

People playing with their eyebrows, especially pulling on them. At work, if people start doing it in meetings then I have to look away. I told DH recently and he thought I was a loon 😂🤦‍♀️ Good on him though, he doesn’t do it anymore!

AshenQueen · 24/01/2020 22:37

Wrists. Touching them, looking at them, having them touched 🤢 no idea why.

Elouera · 24/01/2020 22:51

People with tattoo and/or drawn on eyebrows! Esp when they just look so fake!

Really wonky/uneven/missing/crooked teeth. I know not everyone had braces as a child, but I can't stop looking at such teeth when people talk and find it difficult to concentrate of anything else

When OH re-uses a manky sponge on the stove top, then leaves it 'soaking' in the sink with dishes.

To not rinse out cutlery/bowls/plates in clean water after being washed in bubbly/soapy water. I once drank from a glass that hadn't been rinsed, and ended up with a mouthful of suds. The suds don't disappear into thin air, the bubbles dissolve but they leave a film of soap, so need to be rinsed off!!!

DrMadelineMaxwell · 24/01/2020 22:52

Touching cotton wool.. it's that crunchy feeling. It goes right through me.
And the sound of a toddler chewing on a dummy sets my teeth on edge.

Scoleah · 24/01/2020 22:56

Wet wool

sqirrelfriends · 24/01/2020 22:56

Wet teabags, especially when they're cold already

Jennie1978 · 24/01/2020 22:57

I agree, cotton wool! It is so squeaky! I also hate feet!

latheritup · 24/01/2020 22:57

Cotton wool balls Envy

Killerqueen2244 · 24/01/2020 22:59

Bellybuttons 🤢

Justmuddlingalong · 24/01/2020 22:59

Licky dogs. The noise and saliva gives me the boak. Can't watch adverts with dogs licking stuff and could heave if one tries to lick me.

Smellbellina · 24/01/2020 23:00

Wet legs

Smellbellina · 24/01/2020 23:01

(I mean wet legs with clothes on, bare wet legs are fine!)

ColdTattyWaitingForSummer · 24/01/2020 23:03

Hands rubbing on fabric (really struggled just writing that).
When people crack their joints (looks at Ds1...)
Stickers or sticky labels sticking to my hand. Envy

MermaidPants · 24/01/2020 23:04

The bit of skin between your thumb and pointy finger. It makes me so squeamish.

Also yes to cotton wool.
