Piers Morgan - why his virulent hatred for Meghan Markle?

Not a Harry & Meghan thread as such but a genuine question as to why Piers Morgan is so offensively outspoken about Meghan Markle?

I won't do an extensive c&p exercise but some links below are indicative of Piers Morgan's general style.

Is this Piers Morgan's general persona or is this reserved for Meghan Markle?

PS. I only know of Piers Morgan as Britain's Got Talent and decades ago as editor of the Daily Mirror

I think it's an ego thing. He's such a giant one it can't be difficult to burst.

I meant to say I remember him from waaay back, he used to write for the entertainment section of a low rag. Anyone who said he was a cunt got annihilated in his column. Basically agree with him and pretend to be his mate or he’ll fuck you over.

I guess he saw this as a budding friendship, whereas she saw it more as a networking type thing while trying to build her profile in the UK (pre-Harry). Then he was outraged that she ceased to stay in touch with him - given that he's a former tabloid editor and she was newly dating a prince, that seemed a pretty sensible thing to do, whatever you feel about her. And now the Mirror under his editorship is being sued by Harry for phone hacking.

Gosh, he was unhinged about her this morning on GMB.

PM has a video on the internet where admits it himself. He had been in contact with the cast of Suits including MM (I think they are obliged in contract to speak to journalists and form some kind of relationship to promote Suits). He spoke to her via email a couple of times, then they set up a meet in a London pub. They met that once, and she never contacted him again or return any communication. He later found out that the same day she went to meet Harry.

What is obvious is that when H asked about her day and she mentioned her meet with PM, H must have told her how toxic he is and to stay away and she abided.

I assume because she didn’t suck him off after that one drink. Dire man.

For some reason(and only Pie-arse can verify this) he thought he should have been one of Harry's groomsmen at the wedding because he liked a tweet...though this could be totally made up crap...

He obviously had a very low opinion of her and thought he could use or manipulate her.

Whatever you say about MM, she’s a very intelligent woman who clearly saw some massive red flags when it came to Morgan.

PM has feuds with lots of people he feels have wronged him. Lord Sugar is one such, but he has the advantage of being able to engage in ‘debate’. Of course that won’t happen with the duchess.

PM is an arrogant, entitled, rude, obnoxious and deeply unpleasant individual.
