Are Jo Malone diffusers and candle as great as everyone says?

I have some Christmas money and would like to buy a nice candle or diffuser that I can actually smell around the house!

Over the years I’ve had so many different brand diffusers and candle but have never been able to justify spending the amount that the Jo Malone ones cost!

I like a nice strong scent that I can notice as soon as I walk into the room.

If you've had a Jo Malone before how do you rate them? Or what would you recommend instead? Thanks

Jo Malone candles are almost double the price of The White Company candles in Ireland.
But the "throw" of scent from the JM candle is definitely double that of TWC.

@DurannieDeckingTheHalls you can get a 'discovery collection' from Jo Loves where you buy a set of about 9 sample sizes and the price includes a full size version of your choice, which you call to order after you've tried all the samples at home. Seems to be out of stock at the moment but hopefully will be back. I don't think there is anything that smells like Pomegranate noir (a favourite of mine too!) but there are lots of lovely scents to chose from. I got red truffle 21 though it was a hard choice!
