Do you remember the names of everyone you have slept with?

.Randomly thinking about this last night and it occurred to me that I can’t remember the name of one of the men that I have had sex with.

I can picture him clearly but for the life of me can’t remember his name. It was a brief drunken holiday fling so no way of finding it out either.

It doesn’t really bother me, just surprised that I can’t recall his name.

Just wondered if it was normal?

I can still remember the names of everyone in my first school classes (although I clearly didn’t sleep with all of them. )

I actually made a list one day so I wouldn’t forget , it included their middle names if I knew them and also how old they were when we slept together. No idea where the list is now, I could probably try to remember if I tried hard enough. I’ve slept with less than 20.

Mine’s a list of 2, so I’d have to be fairly deep in Alzheimer’s to not keep track of that.

This thread has really worried me as it's made me realise that I can't and I've only ever had 5 sexual partners, all of whom I was in a relationship with at the time. But my mind is completely blank on 2 of them. I can see them in my head, but can't remember their names. I'm clearly older than I thought I was.

All within the space of 2 years (three of them within 3 months ), then one of them for the subsequent 20.

My 40s were fairly wild between marriage and present long-term relationship. Knew the names at the time but as none of them particularly memorable... at least half a dozen I can't remember. If I can't get back to sleep at night I list them all to try and fill the gaps.
