Reserve from the usual

You will never find me ordering an Indian takeaway as it is my least favourite food.

Pizza. So expensive and you can make a much better version from scratch in no time (and it’s probably better for you too!)

Hiphopopotamus · 05/01/2020 17:25

Definitely pizza - genuinely don’t get how a takeaway pizza is nicer than homemade/shove in the oven, unless I’ve just been ordering from the wrong places. Love a Chinese and Indian though

anon2000000000 · 05/01/2020 17:25

Pizza here. I just don't like it that much.

SugaredSnapPeas · 05/01/2020 17:25

Takeaway pizza that isn't from an Italian restaurant. I'm happy to eat supermarket pizza at home but Dominoes and other chains just aren't good enough for me to want to pay those prices even with special offers. Italian restaurant pizza is so much better.

Screamqueenz · 05/01/2020 17:25

Pizza, I love pizza in Italy, but the UK takeaway version is vile.

PityParty4one · 05/01/2020 17:26

Pizza here too. I just dont like them from a take away but I like home made of fresh in a restaurant.

Notthisnotthat · 05/01/2020 17:29

We are lucky to have some lovely takeaways here, so I'm not likely to order dominos, Pizza Hut type things.

NamechangeoutedbyMIL · 05/01/2020 17:29

Indian, so bloody expensive, never enough chicken (or whatever mean you choose) and its the one thing I don't think tastes any nicer than a jar of sauce from the supermarket

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 05/01/2020 17:30

Pizza

YessicaHaircut · 05/01/2020 17:30

Fish and chips. Too greasy and I always feel queasy afterwards.

Spied · 05/01/2020 17:30

Never ever Indian

LidlDonkey · 05/01/2020 17:30

Pizza for me too. Love Indian, Thai and Mexican. Chinese is a bit meh.

Shockers · 05/01/2020 17:31

Mine would’ve probably been pizza before we moved close to a Sicilian takeaway. Our Chinese isn’t very good here though, so it would be Chinese now.

I think it depends very much on the quality of the takeaways around you.

DeRigueurMortis · 05/01/2020 17:32

Chinese - but it can also be my favourite....

Knowing a really good Chinese takeaway is a gift from the gods....

edwinbear · 05/01/2020 17:33

Indian - I really don’t like spicy food.

homemadecommunistrussia · 05/01/2020 17:33

Chinese, although I love Chinese food. Maybe our local one is just crap?
Pizza is always a safe bet with us, we have been going to the same one for nearly 25 years!

MadisonAvenue · 05/01/2020 17:33

Probably pizza, I've never had a nice takeaway pizza in the UK but love them in the US.

Fish and chips always seem like a good idea but the chips go cold too quickly and fish is always too greasy.

spottbott · 05/01/2020 17:33

Same as @YessicaHaircut fish and chips. Always very greasy and feel a bit sick after

iklboo · 05/01/2020 17:35

KFC. I am really not a fan.

We're lucky to have really good Chinese, Indian, Italian and burger places that do takeaway. We also have sushi and healthy takeaways. It all depends what we're in the mood for.

Dustarr73 · 05/01/2020 17:35

Pizza i find it very stodgy.Favourite is Chinese theres a lovely one not to far.

candycane22 · 05/01/2020 17:36

Hate McDonalds (but does that class as takeaway?)

wowfudge · 05/01/2020 17:37

Pizza here too. I suspect that too often a lot of Chinese takeaways deep fry frozen food they've bought in - the menus are too extensive and food too similar from takeaway to takeaway.

pallisers · 05/01/2020 17:37

pizza
thai food

I much prefer chinese takeaway in Ireland than in the US.

ineedto · 05/01/2020 17:40

Pizza!

Overseasmom100 · 05/01/2020 17:41

Pizza as well so expensive. Fish and chips are so expensive our chip shop charges £7.50 for cod and small chips add on £1.20 for mushy peas Shock
