Just placemarking so I can do this properly on a laptop tomorrow! A year after everyone else did it

Obviously some areas require improvement.

Oh, just done this on a non-touch screen laptop. A disadvantage! As usual, I dive in without reading instructions properly and I got bored with some of them so stopped concentrating. I'll do it again when not tired.

I got 24/24 for the 1st words one but scored in top 20%-10%

I've got my result but it's frozen on the last page - so how do you read it? If your outside of grey it means......what? Closer to the centre means what?

It's told me I am thick. I couldn't understand the instructions for the first question and have no idea what to do, I didn't know what to click or when in the grids or even if I had to.

They spelled ‘broccoli’ wrong.

Not too bad considering it was gone 2am when I did this. I surprised myself with the blocks one and the the odd one out towers round, thought I'd be rubbish at that and better at wordy things where I didn't do as well

If you use a phone with an Edge in the attention one ot doesn't work as well because you can't change the size of the screen, but the bottom row hangs off.
I wish they didn't use grey in the tetris spatial one because i saw the grey as a negative space, not a coloured block.

Yes I had that exact problem with the attention one!

I was much worse in attention(mostly because of that technical issue though I think) and spatial intelligence this time around. It will be interesting to see the published findings of comparisons in ability before and after lockdown.

Well my fingers are too fat to select the right blocks to move, so I am literally thick.

I also lost interest half way through so I'm not sure my intelligence is much cop

I think the aim of this one was more to see the difference lockdown had on people rather than actually gauging intelligence to be fair!

I retook the test yesterday - my working memory (spatial and verbal) and attention had both decreased since the pre lockdown test. I'm not sure how reliable it is on an individual basis - discrepancies could be down to differences in sleep, technology (I can't remember if I used the same computer) etc. It would be better if you did the test several times to get an average picture but then they would have to vary it or you would just learn from repetition. I will be interested to see their population level conclusions though to see if a Covid impact is visible at that level.

I found all the memory and word stuff very easy and got in the top 5-10%. Fucking hate numbers and spatial awareness and came in bottom 50% for all of that. I didn't even really get what they wanted me to do. I clearly have a very lop-sided brain.

I couldn’t press the start button for the final questionnaire on my phone. It’s off the screen for me. So annoying as I went through all the tests but no results.

All the questions at the end SO boring and tedious just to get your results. Ended up just tapping the same answer to each question.

Did it earlier but i can not seem to view the results as the last page does not fully load - it may be because my pc set up is not ideal,as i used a mouse.
likewise one test appears to be just clicking on a moving target - whixh is not fair if your mouse does not move fast .
questions at end quite depressing as they do not self edit for answers already given.
otherwise quite simple once you suss out the graphics are a bit shit in the 3d one .

This is mine. I really thought I did better 🤣 can I use my adhd as an excuse?? Although some parts of memory are surprisingly good, since I usually can't remember anything!
