It's not been without challenges but it was a great decade overall.

Had three pets at different points, two are now deceased 🐾.
Started my professional career.
Got engaged.
Got married.
Got pregnant.
Had a miscarriage.
Became a home owner.

FINALLY for the first time in his 16 year old life, feel no worry or anxiety over my oldest child. He is fine, he has found his thing and it’s a wonderful wonderful relief.

Travelled to a far flung place I have dreamt of going to since very young and never imagined I would make it to.

Went NC with family members who had made me unhappy for years with their judgment and unkindness.

Developed epilepsy.
Diagnosed with Multiple Scolrisis.
Fell in love.

It’s been a really good decade overall. I’m proud of how far I have come and who I am these days.

BIGGEST THING: Left an abusive relationship that completely paralysed me mentally.

Had two books published.
Won/shortlisted for major literature prizes.
Shagged a famous person. Really wasn't worth it. Teeny, tiny penis.
Bought a Little 2 bed cottage by myself, did it up by myself. Hooray!
Bought a biiiiiiiiig 5 bed house. Need to do it up. Argh!
Started my own business.
Got a fuck tonne of qualifications.

Lots of travelling🌏✈️
Bought a house🏡
Had 2 sons💙💙
Became an auntie 3 times 💙❤️❤️

Roughly in order:
DH had a stroke after major surgery (to remove lung tumour)
DD married her lovely fiance, and DH was well enough to walk her up the aisle
Paid off mortgage
Fantastic holidays/cruises with DH (he had made good recovery)
Watching two gorgeous grandchildren grow and develop
Dear cat died but we got two more
DH's cancer returned and he died in 2018
Finding out what good family, friends and neighbours I have who supported me after DH died
Having the courage to go on two holidays on my own abroad last year, and booked two more for this year
