Got pregnant again and ended the decade in bed, 40 weeks pregnant

I've moved house twice
Ended a relationship
Started a new job
Become an Auntie twice
Got a dog
Lost 2 Grandparents
Achieved a post graduate diploma
Eldest DS started university
Both DC now adults
Bought a new car

Lost all my grandparents
Left my abusive twat of a husband
Moved house twice
Made redundant three times
It’s been a bit shit really!!
But I ve watched my DS and Dd grow into wonderful young adults and do really well. That’s all that matters

Lost a husband well finally got rid legally
Gained a home
Had dd
Made redundant
Had ds
Developed chronic illness
Finally married new DH
Lost a ridiculous amount of weight
Finally stood up to my parents
Realised I was worthy (like Thor)

Been quite a decade

Met my now DH in 2010
Moved 200 miles away from home town to be with him
Moved, bought 2 houses
Got married
Travelled more than I ever thought I would
Had a baby at the start of 2019

It's had it's moments but I hope the next 10 years are as happy as the last!

Started the decade pregnant but it took a further 2 years and 2 losses before I finally had ds, then suffered awful pnd. Moved house twice, left behind a career and started 4 different new jobs, although 3 of those are in the same place, lost my 3 dogs over the 10 years, now have 2 cats, had a heart attack...it's been a turbulent decade, hoping the next may be calmer. Happy New Year everyone ☺

Couldn't have predicted any of it so who knows what's to come but it's been a great decade and I hope the next will be as good.

I started this decade newly married and with a newborn.
I've since lost my dad to cancer and had two more children.

The thing I'm most proud of this decade is that I've brought up my disabled son and learnt to cope and fight for him in a way I wouldn't have thought I could at the start of the decade.

put on 5 stone am happy as l am give or take now

DH retired

Had a stillborn baby at full term

Failed IVF
Finally had my DD (she’s seriously disabled but beyond brilliant )
Gave up my career to be a SAHM
Locked into a hideous battle with the local hospital
Have had a few awesome holidays
Moved house (though have to leave to get an adapted house)
Acquired a second dog
First dog is 14 and still kicking ass
Lost weight (from stress but I’ll take that)
Developed a liking for chocolate I never had before DC
Saw my parents lots more (both surviving cancer)
Finally got to NYC
Met awesome friends
Got lonely after DD and leaving job but looking forward to her getting more into nursery and more free time
Read loads of books
Still wish I were in my twenties though

Had a son
Got engaged
Became a single parent
Graduated from uni
Diagnosed with anxiety and depression after suffering in silence for years
Met dp and gained a step daughter
Lost my grandparents
Got a new job and been promoted 4 times
Moved house 4 times and bought our first home
Learnt to manage my anxiety and depression through cbt/counselling and I’m finally off the medication after 7 years.
Went to see Eminem (been a fan since I was young but never been to see him!)
Got engaged to now dp
Became an auntie
Became a dog owner
Lost a brother in law to suicide
Visited 9 countries

Moved house 5/6 times
Got married
Got a dog
Had a miscarriage

Changed jobs 7 times (not always voluntarily)
Had surgery
2 ambulance rides
3 hospital stays (1 was just an overnight for the birth of my baby)
It feels like the later half of this decade has been taken over by illness. I'm hoping to start getting better this next year and begin living and enjoying life again!
