And JUST got divorced (decree absolute arrived yesterday so starting the new year not married!!) hurrah!!

Adopted two cats (one 8 years ago aged 2, the other in 2019 aged 8)
Two nieces born

Frightening health scare
Lost a few friends mostly to cancer

Left my abusive ex
Lost my grandma
Met someone
Started my own business
Had two miscarriages
Had a baby
Bought a house

Although really that's all within the last five years. The first five were (slowly) coming to the realisation that my ex was a narcissistic, emotionally and financially abusive asshat, and then working on my escape plan.

5 family members all died within 3 years of one another
Split from my abusive ex
Lost all my money
Lost 2 pet hamsters
Started counselling for the abuse I went through from my mother as a kid
Told I need 11 teeth extracted due to bruxism (already got 5 out :( )
Got back in touch with family
Went on a really nice holiday last year after years of being trapped

Partner had an awful affair and was abusive

Sold house due to domestic fallout

Became fluent in another language

Had the joy of loving and bringing up daughter

So now, started 2020 with a need to rebuild my life ...

Not many positives I’m afraid!
Had my lovely son but he had many medical issues that needed sorting and lasted 5 years.
My beautiful teenage dd was sexually assaulted by a bastard that got away with it.
My dd friend was killed by a drunk driver.
I got married.
My husband cheated.
I moved house.
Tested for breast cancer (clear!!)
Lost some friends and family that got pissed off they weren’t my priority at times.
I got a new job and luckily a lovely new boss so I got a promotion.
Oh goodness writing it down seems quite sad! 2020 will be different I swear!

Brother died, mum died, I got cancer, survived, son graduated as a teacher, daughter travelled and is now engaged and marrying in 2020. Good bits and rubbish bits but I live to start another decade. Thank you, NHS.

In that order

Moved to a new city, had 2 children, got married, had cancer

My mum died.
My gran died.
We emigrated.
We got a dog.
My aunt died from the same (but apparently not genetic) disease as my mum.
