I’ve hand made something for DH which I am proud of and can’t wait to see his face.

DD is in her twenties and hasn’t been into jewellery until the last year or so, and I hope she loves her new bracelet.

DS has nearly no surprises, but his stocking has a bottle of original recipe irn bru which I think he will love.

I've got DH some whiskey stones - I had to talk him out of buying the same set for his brother yesterday!

Special edition diptyque candle - the luck one, bright red packaging. It arrived yesterday and it is amazing, such a beautiful box with a sleeve in the classic design and inside the candle is in a lovely cloth bag with a ribbon. The whole thing looks fabulous.
My mum loves her candles and she will love this.

Concert tickets for my brother!

Ffsnosexallowed · 24/12/2019 14:00

Tickets to strictly live for me, dd1 (16) and dd2(10). They ate both obsessed with strictly and it will be a complete surprise!

Raera · 24/12/2019 14:01

Metal detector for Grandsons!

KatyMac · 24/12/2019 14:05

I've made DH, my niece, my SIL, my dd's new bf, and a friend all decorated jackets and a bag for DD

Making things to give is so risky - people often don't 3ealise the effort put in

LajesticVantrashell · 24/12/2019 14:06

I've bought my three year old DA Pop Up Pirate and I think it's going to blow his tiny mind SmileGrin

LajesticVantrashell · 24/12/2019 14:07

DS. Not district attorney Grin

jenthelibrarian · 24/12/2019 14:08

When the kids [now grown up] were small we all loved a Quentin Blake picture book 'Mrs Armitage on Wheels'.
She has a bike to which she keeps adding increasingly ludicrous accessories.
My husband is a keen cyclist and always buying gadgets and always fondly says: 'What this bike needs, said Mrs Armitage...'
I've got him a limited edition print of the illustration.

What a lovely thread.

I can’t wait to see my Mum’s reaction to the bowl my toddler painted for her, with the odd footprint from my newborn. She loves personalised bits and I know my toddler will LOVE telling her all about it.

halocompanach · 24/12/2019 15:23

DD has picked out a restaurant she wants to go to on her graduation day but has decided not to as she wants to know if it's any good before the day but can't because it's too expensive. I've got her a voucher for her and boyfriend to go there for a meal.

ihearttc · 24/12/2019 15:29

I’ve got DS1 (15) and DS2 (who is 9 so probably too young!) tickets to see Stormzy at the O2.

They will literally be over the moon with them and I can’t wait to see their faces!

Radardodgingninga · 24/12/2019 15:29

I’ve got all the family tickets for the Harry Potter stage plays. Really good seats. I can’t wait to see their faces.

I’ve also got adult DC tickets to see a standup comedian they follow. He’s not famous so they weren’t expensive but I know they will be thrilled.

Ineedaweeinpeace · 24/12/2019 15:33

Double pram for my two year old she is gonna lose her mind when she realises TWO babies can fit in it at once 😄

My big girl (6) is being amazing this year just wants to help out and give pressies which is making my heart sing.

Merry Christmas everyone x

Ted27 · 24/12/2019 15:34

A voucher for posh afternoon tea for my mum and stepdad. Its very local for them but the sort of treat they can't afford themselves

On a similar note I have bought a Greggs gift card for my son - he has simpler tastes !

BertieBotts · 24/12/2019 15:39

Dancing robot toy thing for my 1yo. DS1 is excited too despite being 11 :o He wants to play with it.

HerRoyalFattyness · 24/12/2019 15:47

I'm super excited to give DS1 the Harry potter sorting hat. He's HP mad.

For DD it's got to be the Barbie dreamtopia unicorn, which lights up and makes noises. She was so excited when she saw an ad for it.

And for DS2, it is the giant elephant stuffed toy. He loves elephants.

Ulysses · 24/12/2019 15:58

Tickets for the four of us see Hamilton at half term in February. DH and I went a year and a bit ago ourselves and played the soundtrack constantly afterwards and DDs loved it. We live in Scotland so will have a couple of days in London as well.

BrieAndChilli · 24/12/2019 16:01

A giant unicorn teddy for my niece as it’s one of 2 things she’s asked for.
A game called Trump Cards for 13 year old DS
