I’ve hand made something for DH which I am proud of and can’t wait to see his face.

DD is in her twenties and hasn’t been into jewellery until the last year or so, and I hope she loves her new bracelet.

DS has nearly no surprises, but his stocking has a bottle of original recipe irn bru which I think he will love.

I have hand drawn DH a card that I know he will genuinely love more than any of the expensive things that I've bought him. His reaction when I do things like this makes me realise why I love him so much.

Also was a bit nervous about giving DSD her outfit for tomorrow as she is funny about clothes sometimes but she absolutely loved it and said she wished it was the morning so she could put it on.

A Sans teddy (from Undertale). He is obsessed.

Although he currently cradling the Guinness World Record book that the elves left him. Don't know if that will be topped!

Bought my 12yo dd a tv for her room. Her list was all small stuff - hoody / mug / American sweets etc.

I don't think i it has ever occurred to her I would get her one - 2 weeks ago I was talking about getting a new one for downstairs and she said she wanted one - I very firmly told her we would discuss it when she was 13 so I think she will be very surprised but very pleased!

NotYourTypicalNerd · 24/12/2019 19:48

This is a silly one, but for us, stocking are all about the tat: I cannot wait until DS gets his inflatable monkey Grin Hes gonna have a grin SO BIG! Its the small things!

WeirdPookah · 24/12/2019 19:50

@danadas I hope you have had as much fun as me playing up to the weight and wondering what it is!

cardibach · 24/12/2019 19:51

DD, for reasons best k own to herself, wants a globe drinks cabinet. She has no idea it’s even a realistic idea but I’ve bought her one. Can’t wait!

Mine is a tiny gift in a stocking for my 9 year old. She loves the Moshi Monsters movie and decided she wanted a Mr Snoodles. Now you can't get Moshi stuff anywhere and the only toys I could find were tiny blind bag ones. Luckily I found a ty soft Mr Snoodles on ebay who is big enough to clip onto her lunch bag and being ty is the same as her beanie boos she loves!
We have been talking her down when she has been saying Father Christmas will bring one and pointing out that you don't get Moshi toys at the moment but she will have a a huge surprise when she gets it! Definitely will keep her faith in Father Christmas and his elves.

My Star Wars obsessed 30 year old partner was rambling on about how he wanted to buy some star wars Lego the other day.
I promptly told him he was not a child and then the next day ordered him a little millennium falcon and Chewbacca Grin

MrsGrindah · 24/12/2019 19:56

Loving the globes drinks cabinet!

whataballbag · 24/12/2019 19:58

DS1 - Nintendo switch. Ex DP and I split in September and money has been tight. He said he will save his money (Christmas and his birthday in jan) to get one so that I have enough to get him some little presents and his baby brothers presents. He is only 5 and he has the biggest heard out of anyone I've ever met.

DS2 - A play kitchen, he's going to be so excited!!!

mommybear1 · 24/12/2019 20:02

DH I have got him his favourite photo from our wedding out onto canvas - he's far more romantic about this than I am. DS his micro scooter he's going to be soooooooo excited 😆

HippyChickMama · 24/12/2019 20:08

Among other things dd (6) has a pair of sparkly red slippers, she's obsessed with the Wizard of Oz and she's going to love them. Despite having much more expensive and exciting presents I think they will be her favourite.

CliffsofMoherVisitor · 24/12/2019 20:48

Can't wait for my mum to unwrap two discontinued lipsticks she used to love. Got them on eBay :D

magoria · 24/12/2019 23:15

I have got DP sandals!

They are ones to put cleats in for cycling though and I got the cleats too.

Gertie75 · 24/12/2019 23:24

For dh I've had a family photo printed and framed, we climbed our first mountain together this year and I set up my tripod to get a photo of us all together, even the dog is smiling on it.

For dd1 a big pot of slime, I never let her have it and she put it on the top of her Christmas list.

Dd2 asked for a play kitchen and I said it was too big so she should choose something else, I've found a smaller one though and made up a huge box of accessories to go with it.

Skinandbones · 24/12/2019 23:32

We were over in Orlando in October, told everyone no birthday present. We got birthday/Christmas over there. 2 of my daughter partners are big Star wars fans, we got them kyber crystals and a box. When you put them together you start getting words of wisdom from different jedi masters. Both dds have said they will video it.

haverhill · 24/12/2019 23:36

A novelty turkey hat for DH. 😄

tigerbear · 24/12/2019 23:40

@ParkheadParadise thank you, happy Christmas to you too!

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 24/12/2019 23:46

I made DH a card from an old newspaper clipping he likes - he opened it tonight and actually cried laughing.

I wrote DD1 5yo her own chapter book where she is a superhero so we will see what she thinks of that!

DT2 is getting a workbench with light-up tools. She is totally going into STEM when she is older so will hopefully love it.

DT1 is getting an outsize toy truck which I think he will like. He is obsessed with white vans and this is a rubbish lorry but he can use his imagination Crown Grin

Horehound · 24/12/2019 23:46

@KatyMac ohhh can we see a photo of the jackets?!

@AnAngryElf yes, that is a great gift!!

30not13 · 24/12/2019 23:48

A bag of bandages and a real working stethoscope for 6yo DC

SentimentalKiller · 24/12/2019 23:48

Coraline doll for DD. It has been her favourite film for years but I put it off thinking they were expensive.

runningpink · 25/12/2019 05:58

I took my best friends dogs for a photo shoot. Can’t wait for her to see the photos.

Although Iv had to be a bit sneaky about the gift and feel awful for lying to her. But I know she will understand why I had to, so this was kept as a surprise.

She’s getting a bottle of wine next year, much less stressful! 😂

SexlessBoulderBelly · 25/12/2019 06:10

The Cirque Du Soleil tickets for my mum and her husband. Its one of the top things to do and see on her bucket list but she’s never been able to justify or afford the tickets herself.

I brought a scratch off event reveal ticket from Not On the Hight Street and I can’t wait to see her reaction.

Next to that is my niece who is now 3 years old and we did mini Christmas at my dads house the other day and she now knows what Christmas is all about and I’m so excited to watch her open all her little presents
