I’ve hand made something for DH which I am proud of and can’t wait to see his face.

DD is in her twenties and hasn’t been into jewellery until the last year or so, and I hope she loves her new bracelet.

DS has nearly no surprises, but his stocking has a bottle of original recipe irn bru which I think he will love.

My nephews are 2 and 4 and really into imaginary play right now. We've got them each a pop-up play fort and costumes- one space-themed, one castle themed.

DSis and I are taking the kids away in January. She has painted two pebbles blue and wrapped them in identical boxes. Can't wait to watch DD and DNephew open them and try to guess what they mean!

Have you guessed yet! 😉

An Apple Watch for dd who is 15. I know she'll love it but would never ask for one because she'd never ask for anything so expensive, I'm so excited for her to open it!

I got my dad a personalised book stamp. It has "this book belongs to Dad's name" and all around it are pictures of his favourite things. I got it on notonthehighst and honestly it looks amazing!!
My dad loves books and the person who made it has done an incredible job!

BikeRunSki · 24/12/2019 16:07

A book for DS(11). He’s a big reader and has just finished the Artemis Fowl books and is feeling a bit bereft because he loved them. He doesn’t know that there was a spin off book published last month, or that I went to an actual book shop last week to make sure it would be here for Christmas.

I can't wait to hear what my DM thinks to a closed terrarium I made her. Was a right pain to source suitable plants in the end, and a vessel I was reasonably happy with!

starrynight19 · 24/12/2019 16:12

My 11yo loves McFly music (thanks to me!)

cstaff · 24/12/2019 16:28

We got my mum a surprise weekend in Rome and we are all going with her. We gave it to her on Sunday-only day we could all meet up- she cried her eyes out (with happiness I hope).

ParkheadParadise · 24/12/2019 16:28

My Sister's
My sister is 50 in March.
All her siblings have put together and she is off to New York with her Husband. She has never had a proper holiday for years.

I can't wait to see her face. She be gobsmacked.
I will probably CRY.

Fruityb · 24/12/2019 16:32

Giving my son the Paw Patrol plane he’s asked for for ages. And a leather bracelet I’ve got my husband with mine and DS’s initials on.

I love giving presents

tigerbear · 24/12/2019 16:33

DP and I have made a copy of an Our Generation horse stable for DD. It’s massive so we’ve had to hide it in my next door neighbours house. However, DD went on my phone yesterday without me seeing, and found a picture of it 😬
I snatched it straight off her, so I think she’ll still be thrilled when she sees it properly.
We bought the pink doors from the OG website, but made everything else from scratch.

Indella · 24/12/2019 16:35

An oculus quest console for my teenage son. He didn’t even ask for it as he knew it was out of budget so can’t wait to see his face when he realises he’s got it.

Blueuggboots · 24/12/2019 16:37

A beautiful hand drawn picture of our dog who was recently put to sleep....my stone hearted oh night even squeak a tear I reckon...

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 24/12/2019 16:41

For Ds1 his elite Xbox controller and tennis table both of which we sod NO too as too big and too expensive.

Ds2 his gaming PC, he hasn’t got a clue, and is something we know he desperately wants but won’t ask for as he got one last year but the specs were really bad.

ParkheadParadise · 24/12/2019 16:48

@tigerbear
That's Brilliant.
Bet she loves it.
Merry Christmas

danadas · 24/12/2019 16:57

@WeirdPookah I've got the same for my OH, he was really confused when I came staggering in with the box when it was delivered!

I am looking forward to giving DD16 her first 'proper; earrings, she only had them pierced this year and has had cheap ones in since then

DD14 - asked for a coat which I told him was too expensive but have bought without him realising

DS6 - all of it because he loves the whole thing at this age!
