I’ve hand made something for DH which I am proud of and can’t wait to see his face.

DD is in her twenties and hasn’t been into jewellery until the last year or so, and I hope she loves her new bracelet.

DS has nearly no surprises, but his stocking has a bottle of original recipe irn bru which I think he will love.

I've bought whiskey stones too, for an impossible to buy for DH. Think he'll be surprised!

Sexnotgender · 24/12/2019 17:35

I bought my DH a ukelele.

Awesome!! My DH has a 1920s Gibson banjolele, he took it to a music store to get it reskinned and a new bridge, the guy phoned him to ask where he got it as it was AMAZING (it belonged to grandfather).

Spied · 24/12/2019 17:41

DD a fairy doll I had to source from Canada.Grin. She's well aware they are rare and isn't expecting it. Also, her bike, although I think she's expecting one.
DS his phone. I don't think he's expecting one as we said he should wait until next year ( he probably should haveBlush)

This is a lovely thread, so much thought has gone into these presents 😍

MercedesDeMonteChristo · 24/12/2019 17:54

DS2 a jacket he is desperate for and I have repeatedly said no to.

DS1 a dna kit. He has wanted one for a long time.

DS3 the PS4 that is a joint present, I’m pretty sure his brothers know we have bought it but I really think he thinks we haven’t so will be totally made up.

cstaff · 24/12/2019 18:23

I hope none of you are disappointed. I remember years ago my sister got my very young niece a bike and she spent all day playing with the box it came in 😂😂

cheesenpickles · 24/12/2019 18:27

SunshineDays2019 · 24/12/2019 18:30

BelleSausage · 24/12/2019 18:33

I’ve gotten DD(3) the exact Rapunzel doll she has been obsessing over. She has been talking about it all day. She’s very worried that Santa might not know because it wasn’t on her original list.

Dementedswan · 24/12/2019 18:34

Ds2 has been asking for a hoverboard for the last 14 months ... hes going to be over the moon, however I suspect the £6 large cuddly monkey is going to be a massive hit!

Ds1 thinks hes been too naughty for presents, hes had his apt with santa today and has been told hes just made it on the nice list for acts of kindness so hes so excited I think he will love everything he gets (hes not naughty really....just aware hes a bit grumpy and cheeky sometimes)

I cant wait to see their faces!

YouCantBeSirius · 24/12/2019 18:34

A Graphic drawing tablet for my DD. She loves drawing and is desperate to try some digital art. She is going to be thrilled. We've got a couple of big Unikitty lego sets for DSD which she will love and a baby shark puppet for my 16 month old. She is baby shark daft so she'll be happy

danni0509 · 24/12/2019 18:36

Ds his dyson hoover so he leaves mine alone! He's going to love it.

MrsGrindah · 24/12/2019 18:42

This is such a lovely thread. I can’t stand those threads about how much people have spent or “ show me your pile” etc. This thread just shows it’s the love and thought that matters. And it’s the pleasure of giving that’s just as nice as receiving...I don’t mean to sound corny but this thread shows it’s obviously true.

RudolphIsMySpiritAnimal · 24/12/2019 18:50

DD explained when visiting Santa that she wanted a "robot cat, that doesn't scratch or bite" (our RL cat does both Blush) and "just purrs and meows and likes to be stroked."

Catching my panicked shrugs and shaking-of-head, Santa told her he'd bring her surprise. DD grinned at him and "I know you'll do it Santa, you love a challenge!"

Well I've only bloody found one! Can't wait to see her face tomorrow when she discovers "Santa" rose to the challenge!

(I didn't pay that much for it - got a deal Grin)

Teedeepie · 24/12/2019 19:07

I love this thread too. My boys are much older so I got them both a flight voucher each to plan a trip somewhere nice together or separately Confused. My 14 year old daughter has been without a phone for 8 weeks and believes she will have to wait and save up with some Xmas money but I got a great deal on a refurbished one which is suitably disguised in a bigger box. Can’t wait to see her face when she opens it Smile.

Merry Christmas everyone Wine

AnAngryElf · 24/12/2019 19:13

My mum loves Carly Simon and Snoopy so I've got her a tshirt with Snoopy on listening to music and it says "sometimes all I want to do is listen to Carly Simon"

She'll probably wear it every day for the rest of her life❤️

MrsGrindah · 24/12/2019 19:14

AnAngryElfThats a bloody brilliant present!

megletthesecond · 24/12/2019 19:14

DD has got a smoothie maker. She's always been on about wanting one. I'm hoping it will inspire her to have more fruit and veg Crown Hmm.

halocompanach · 24/12/2019 19:15

It's got to be Bluestone...sounds great :-)

Bogiesaremyonlyfriend · 24/12/2019 19:16

My dd1 (9) is getting a laptop, she us not expecting it at all and would never ask as she knows they are expensive . She loves to type stories on my work laptop and will be over the moon, possibly tears!

Dd2 (7) has asked for the sylvanian families school. She saw the nursery set and said she'd ask for that for her birthday but I got it for her too and some accessories. She will be so pleased.

Bogiesaremyonlyfriend · 24/12/2019 19:17

Dds are looking forward to giving their dad a calendar that they drew and had printed, took hours to get all 12 pictures and a front cover! He will be made up.

EllaEllaE · 24/12/2019 19:21

4yo son is getting his first big boy bike. He is going to be so excited! Luckily the weather will be unseasonably warm tomorrow, so he can ride it outside rather than up and down our tiny hallway!
