... I'm thinking like A Christmas Prince which was unexpectedly good!

I know they commission loads at Christmas but are they all trash (bad trash not good trash)!?

Klaus, its a cartoon but such an original story of where ‘santa’ comes from, I absolutely loved it.

AllYouGoodGoodPeople · 03/12/2019 19:48

The Christmas Chronicles. Personally I can't wait until the Christmas Prince: royal baby comes out.

We really enjoyed Klaus, it was a real gem

ActualHornist · 03/12/2019 19:50

Klaus was wonderful - we kicked of December on Sunday with it!

ActualHornist · 03/12/2019 19:50

Kicked off I mean

Chickenitalia · 03/12/2019 19:50

The Knight Before Christmas is fabulously awful. I’ll be watching it again I’m sure 🤣🤣🤣 it’s part of the Christmas Prince ‘universe’ and has definitely got the set up for a sequel at the end. Enjoy!

Coldhandscoldheart · 03/12/2019 19:50

I watched Klaus the other day & really liked it, very gentle.

Imonlydoingwhatican · 03/12/2019 19:54

Holiday in the wild is lovely. My favourite
The knight before cmas, cheesy but cute.
Santa girl, let it snow, christmas inheritence all ok for a watch

Christmas prince 3 comes out on thursday xx

BeagleMomma · 03/12/2019 20:00

I second "The Knight before Christmas"

Absolute CRAP, but perfect, hallmark-worthy, Christmas, heart-warming crap Grin

Holiday in the wild

This was the first Christmas film I watched, about two weeks ago. Purely because it had a star cast. It was terrible! Crap acting and utterly predictable. Even the cute elephants and moral story couldn't save it. It was funny because it was so eye-rollingly awful.

Fucck · 03/12/2019 20:12

The Christmas prince is getting another sequel, the Christmas baby. Out this weekend. Got an email about it!

doadeer · 03/12/2019 21:01

Omg I didn't know a third one was coming!!! Yeasss 😂

Placemarking.
I love a good crap film Grin

Bokky · 03/12/2019 21:06

There's a series of 8 episodes called Merry Happy Whatever and they are a typical cheesy American family Christmas set over a number of days. We binge watched it on Sunday and we loved it! Cheesy rubbish but brilliant!

HairyToity · 03/12/2019 21:06

I love love love Knaus. My daughter loved Get Santa.

HairyToity · 03/12/2019 21:06

Klaus even!

GrouchyKiwi · 03/12/2019 21:09

I quite liked The Christmas Calendar last year. It was about the fourth my sister and I tried watching and the only one we stuck with.

Fucck · 03/12/2019 21:55

I'm watching Christmas Inheritance tonight.

I watched one this week that wasn't bad but I can't tell you what it was as it seems to have disappeared from the Trending bit on the home screen.
It was about a male pop star who meets a girl on a train and the train breaks down in the snow so they set off walking to town. There's a Waffle House, an annoying "princess" character, that liked pigs, that gets knocked down a peg or two, a "weirdo" in a tin hat that turns out to be very helpful and wise and some bullies that get their comeuppance. It ticked all the usual schmaltz boxes but there was also biracial and same sex storylines that were told really well without stereotypes. I'd recommend that if anyone can identify it!

Legomadx2 · 03/12/2019 21:57

We loved the Christmas Chronicles last year.

I haven't heard of Klaus - will investigate.

Mummyshark2018 · 03/12/2019 22:01

I keep looking for older and classic Christmas films but am disappointed they aren't there- like home alone, elf, miracle on 34th street. My dc loves the nativity films though.

MarshaBradyo · 03/12/2019 22:03

Klaus is really good

Amani · 03/12/2019 22:05

What is second film in the Christmas prince trilogy?

Heymummee · 03/12/2019 22:06

Another vote for Klaus

shrumps · 03/12/2019 22:08

Fuuck that was 'Let it Snow' - also enjoyed it! I am trying one a night between now and Christmas Eve!
