... I'm thinking like A Christmas Prince which was unexpectedly good!

I know they commission loads at Christmas but are they all trash (bad trash not good trash)!?

I LOVED Knight before Christmas. Very funny ("magic box that makes merry", "delicious mead", "wench", "old crone", "flying steel dragon") Would love a sequel. But couldn't get into Christmas Prince. Similarly cheesy but without the humour.

There is a heck of a lot of Christmas tripe on Netflix. Agree with pp who said they should give us fewer films but better quality. Because I am a MASSIVE sad case, I keep a spreadsheet of all the film and TV I watch. I noted that last Netflix's best offerings were "All I want for Christmas" and "Christmas Detour" but they don't seem to be on there this year.

@kenzobaby, do you have IMDB? I try to keep up with every film I watch by rating it through their app and then when you search up an actor, it tells you what you might have seen them in.
I find it very handy, it is also a one stop shop for trailers, news and which famous person has the same birthday as you you know, the important stuff Grin

@KenzoBaby Try Let it Snow! I was pleasantly surprised

Hello! By total coincidence I have "met" (well, online mostly) Sam Heughan in real life through my work! I can say he is a thoroughly decent chap. Very nice, funny and laid-back.

Thanks for the above tips about Imdb and Let it Snow! :-DDD

Shosha1 · 11/12/2019 23:11

Fucck · 14/12/2019 16:12

octopusrus · 14/12/2019 16:48

Following! 🎄

GlitchStitch · 14/12/2019 16:52

Just watched A Cinderella Story- Christmas Wish. Apparently putting on some elf ears and a Santa hat renders you unrecognisable. So cheesy and ridiculous but I loved it! Also really loved Knight Before Christmas.

doadeer · 14/12/2019 17:55

@GlitchStitch that was so hilariously ridiculous 😂😂😂

dreamyflower · 14/12/2019 18:04

Christmas wishes good and crap. Romantic and easy to watch. DH cringed all the way through 😂

Percivalthebabyspider · 14/12/2019 18:25

Angels in the Snow. Totally bizarre and cheese to boot!

Spam88 · 14/12/2019 20:31

A Very Murray Christmas is a nice Christmassy watch :)

CallarMorvern · 14/12/2019 20:53

Knight Before Christmas was shite, though I had to watch all of it 😆
I like the Good Witch films, not sure if there is a Christmas one, they are shite too, but again I feel compelled to watch them🤦‍♀️

ScrummyDiva2 · 14/12/2019 21:19

Just watched Get Santa and really enjoyed it!

longtompot · 17/12/2019 11:31

I watched Christmas Chronicles and Klaus after reading this thread. Liked the first and loved Klaus. Will be watching that again, possibly Christmas eve.

Hepzibar · 19/12/2019 21:32

Just watched Return to Christmas Creek, a little gem

Hepzibar · 21/12/2019 22:09

Now done Homegrown Christmas on Prime. Very cheesy but watchable
