Got the latest ASA email through today and this made me splutter. The absolute cheek of her response last week! The full ruling is a good read and makes clear all ads need to be clear before you click on the full caption. How fod has got away with what he does for so long is beyond me.

The amount of likes from the insta mum followers.. they've dropped MoD like a hot brick and run like a pack of sheep onto the next biggest thing. It's awful, so fake!! I'm going to spend some time today unliking all these people.

He seems to be scraping the barrel for posts to move on from the MoD stuff, wondering if he's trying to fill space until he can slip the next ad in or if he's having to wait for a sponsor/freebie to show up.

I’ve never understood how he has 1m followers. All he posts is a stupid facial expression while holding the twins in some random way. And if he’s not posting that, he’s posting something like lost hairbands which hoards of women seem to think is hilarious. Clearly I’m missing something

I think some people like the 'crazy dad' bit but that it's largely to do with him posting so many photos/videos of the kids, mainly the twins, think if he'd made the account purely about them he'd have even more than 1m (not saying he should though!). If he keeps up not showing so much of them now for privacy I reckon his numbers will tank, which is why I think he's waiting until this all blows over then it'll be business as usual, literally. Privacy and protecting your kids seems like an old fashioned concept to some people.

Although actually I expect he is boosting his posts to an American audience, so that could be why he is using americanisms.

FOD's back posting pictures of the twins, in another of his pictures in the 'Twins In Worrying Situations' series. Perhaps trying to stem the outflow of followers, although sadly it doesn't seem to be working - he's lost nearly nearly 400 followers today
