DH told me I looked beautiful the afternoon.

How I actually look is exhausted, major face luggage, mad half dry hair, leggings and an ancient jumper, baby dribble on my shoulder.

Friend told me she loved my hair today and last week I was at A&E and nurse had to check my notes to check I was the right person as she couldn't believe I was nearly forty.

Couple of months ago nurse at hospital staring at my hands told me I had lovely veins. Gee thanks flattered I'm sure

Court compliments. Do your hair and makeup extra nice, wear noticeable lip stick, wear your best top to go to the shop. Arrange your face to look friendly. "You look nice today" and "Going out are we?" comments will follow. Respond with "just fancied making an effort, thanks" and a big smile.
