DDs foot turning inwards after injury, quite worried

4YO DD had a bad fall at school on Thursday last week and hurt her head and hurt her foot. She was limping and her foot was very obviously twisted inwards. She has always had a slightly turned in foot but it seems much worse all of a sudden.
We took her to A&E who x rayed etc but couldn't see anything and have referred us to the fracture clinic on Monday.
She went back to school today but is now limping again and her foot is still very curved in to the point it looks clubbed (very upsetting for me to see as I suffered dreadfully with a severely clubbed foot until I was well in to my teens)
Should I wait to see the fracture clinic or do something else? I don't know if she should be back in school if she's limping everywhere but she's not complaining of any pain.

I'm just so anxious about it and really don't know what to do for the best. It looks so twisted.

Ah yay so happy she's on the mend

How is she OP?

Thanks for checking in Time Flowers.

She is OK. Not completely herself again, but OK. She is very needy and clingy all of a sudden and I had to pick her up from school yesterday as she was really upset and wanted to come home. She still has a cough and is constantly clearing her throat.

She also did have hand foot and mouth in the end, there seems to be a big outbreak where we live.

Her foot is still bothering her but have an appointment at the fracture clinic next week about it and have a referral to see a hospital paediatrician about the lumps in her neck (which are still pronounced and haven't gone away).

I'm still worrying constantly but they have done so many tests now with everything coming back looking fine.

Hope she's back to her normal self soon, i wonder if all her little body's energy is going into healing her foot and she's run down as a result. Poor little love, hope your getting some rest, can't imagine how stressed you must be Thanks

How is she now, a few weeks later, @MayorMumbum ?

Hi Bluebell thanks so much for checking in Flowers.

She is a lot better. Still can't shift a cough and the lumps in her neck are still there and pronounced (though don't seem to be getting any bigger, thankfully). She is also back in school.

We have an appointment with a specialist in mid-December but I'm increasingly reassured it's nothing too serious but just a bunch of things happened at once to overwhelm her little immune system. Hopefully no more tests are needed as she was quite traumatised by her week in and out of hospital.

Off chance did the doctors check for sarcoidosis. I think it’s pretty rare in children though.
