When DS was seriously ill in hospital. No sleep bar the odd 10minutes here or there for a week. Then went into labour at the end of that was and was so broken i was nodding off even during contractions .

One night is totally doable. But make sure you get decent sleep before attempting to do any driving

Loads of times. Night shifts, insomnia, babies, labour, partying and a few times with DH when we first met.

I am a night owl, but 3.00am is when I flag. I just put up with feeling like shit and by 5.00am I get a second wind. There is a scientific reason for this, I read it in that Why We Sleep book, but I have forgotten what it is.

I do 10 hour night shifts once a fortnight. I find them boring as I am the only staff member awake. When I did 12.5 hour night shifts as a HCA I found it easier because I was busier and had company.

It's the following evening I feel like absolute crap. I don't sleep for more than a few hours after a night shift and bloody hell do I feel it now for the following two days. However, I do days and lates as well so I am not in a great sleeping routine.

I'm up
Just now as I work constant nightshift as a nurse. I'm constantly exhausted as I have no childcare during the day for my 2 year old
