Do you remember the exact date you first got together with your OH?

Just that really. I remind DH every year we got together on this day how many years ago and he just rolls his eyes now.

Anyone else have the exact date you got together etched in your mind?

Coincidentally DS was born the day before our first date anniversary. I was hoping he'd come on the day itself.

I can tell you when we met and started seeing eachother (22nd June) but I couldn't tell you when we became 'official' it was sometime in September.

elQuintoConyo · 07/09/2019 09:36

The day we met (day after a very big change in my life), and date we got together - basically our first kiss. We were together 2 years before we got married and sometimes I have to really think to remember our wedding date Blush

It'll be 21 years of our first kiss soon Grin

Together 12 years before marriage

Yes but only because it was Christmas Eve!

AliDran · 07/09/2019 09:45

Nope, couldn't even tell you the year. I remember the year we got married though!

RezCowgirl · 07/09/2019 10:03

Yep, it was same day as Kate and Will's wedding. I always forget the exact date but thankfully there's Google to remind me Grin

Notonthestairs · 07/09/2019 10:21

Yes because he sent a bunch of flowers anonymously on Valentines Day - but owned up that they were from him towards the end of the day and walked me home from work. I consider that our first date Grin

WanderingMind · 07/09/2019 10:24

Yes, I remember the exact date. And, unlike another poster upthread, we were ”official” from that date. I heartily dislike this trend of dating and then making it ”official”.

What's to hide?

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 07/09/2019 10:25

Nope, we don’t have a clue, we remember every detail of our first date but not the day/month and we’re not 100% on whether it was 2003 or 2004!

JapaneseBirdPainting · 07/09/2019 10:25

Yes. I recall the exact date we met (July 11th) and then the date we first got together (September 15th).

DH remembers the date we met but not the date we first slept together. Grin

ItchySeveredFoot · 07/09/2019 10:27

I know when we first met. We met at a train station and I had the ticket in my purse for a while before. Just out of laziness. Our first dd was born 6 years and 1 day later.

maras2 · 07/09/2019 10:27

Tuesday 3rd September 1968.
He was with my friend and lived just up the road from me.
He invited me to a Young Socialist meeting the following Friday.
Reader, I married him albeit 7 years later.Smile

A while after I mean. I didn't time travel

Rubicon80 · 07/09/2019 10:28

No. And I'd roll my eyes too.

Wond3rment · 07/09/2019 10:29

Both DH and I would remember it but I think we’ve got heads that retain dates for general life stuff. 16 June ....29 years ago (we were teenagers)

TheJoxter · 07/09/2019 10:33

11/11, easy to remember. Can also remember the exact day we first met because it was a friends birthday

Benes · 07/09/2019 10:34

Yes....it was love/lust at first sight. Never felt anything like it before. All from a 30min work meeting.😂

We moved in together 3 months later, bought a house after 6months and got married and pregnant within a year!

8 years later and we're still blissfully happy. I'm very lucky 😍

Fatted · 07/09/2019 10:34

We both remember the day. But to be fair it was Christmas eve (technically Christmas morning!) we met and boxing day we had our first date. I don't think DH always remembers the year though.

We both remember our wedding anniversary and year though. It was this week!!

DonPablo · 07/09/2019 10:35

Yep, because it's also our wedding anniversary! We didn't get married the day we got together.... Just used the date 3 years later. That was 22 years ago!

WobblyLondoner · 07/09/2019 10:59

Yes, and we swap cards on that day each year. Now I'm wondering if we're just sentimental fools! Smile

coffeeagogo · 07/09/2019 11:00

20 October 2001 - etched on my mind Grin- he couldn't tell you how many years we've been together even!

pumpkinpie01 · 07/09/2019 11:04

I'm really not to sure as we as we were FWB for a while, he says that was only for a for a few months but I'm sure it was quite a bit longer than that. I wont forget out wedding anniversary thou !

Billballbaggins · 07/09/2019 11:05

I can tell you the month but not the date, nope.

VoyageInTheDark · 07/09/2019 11:07

Yes I remember that date easier than our wedding date as that changed last minute! Met on Sept 3rd and I also thought DD would arrive on this date (as she was already overdue) but she decided to wait a further 9 days
