They often use budget airlines - Ive put links up - and it is easily google able - actually The Cambridge's and Harry (pre Sussex days) all flew Ryanair to Zara Tindals wedding in Scotland>

People make these ridiculous issues out of nothing. This week, the Cambridge's are flying to Balmoral - just like they have don't for countless years - on a scheduled flight. No drama. No conspiracy. Except where posters get their rocks off dreaming one up.

Prince William was pictured on a BA flights (I think it was BA) a few years ago. He flies commercial. It isn't just because of Harry.
He also flies private but still.

If the Cambridgeshire booked late to win ecology points then they were lucky to get seats at the front all together without pissing off a load of MNs who had paid extra to pre book their chosen seats and were refusing to move on principle.

@eeksville I think the problem with H+MM is that they bang on about the environment then go on 3 private planes in a short amount of time (including to an environment seminar). Its more about the hypocrisy than the actual environmental damage.

I think they would have been extremely foolish to do anything else in the present climate! They could have been a constitutional crisis in Australia and Will and Kate would have still gotten the cheapest flight going, even if entailed 2 changeovers in China and South Korea. The press is blood thirsty right now and constant pics of P. Andrew with his arm around the midriff of exploited 17 year old sex slaves isn't helping anyone.

I think putting the country at risk of King Harry and Queen Meghan is an unacceptable risk.

IF it was booked as a resposte to harry et al, it was a good move as it shows they value public opinion and are prepared to change their behaviour.

what's slightly worrying is we had the 2nd, 3rd , 4th and 5th in line to the throne on the same flight. That would not normally happen.

Members of the royal family routinely fly on normal commercial airlines like the rest of us. This is not news and is only being covered by the media to highlight Harry & Meghan’s blatant hypocrisy.
