What clothes would put you off a potential partner?

Inspired by the ‘What three items would you never wear?’ thread in AIBU - is there an item or style of clothing that would put you off if you were looking at someone as a potential partner?

I've just walked past a man who was wearing a ‘If found, please return to the pub’ T-shirt. This and all similar variants (‘In case of emergency please insert beer’ with an arrow pointing upwards etc.) would kill any lust for me. I’m sure there would be people who think it horribly judgemental, but I just know this would be the type of man who’d enjoy prank shows, Unilad and ‘epic bantz’.

Anyone else?

Grandad jeans
Like straight cut jeans in pale stonewash with a baggy arse that give a v bum. They always have loads of buttons down the fly and are held up by a belt that bunches the waist up like a scrunchie.
Any polo shirts.
Cardigans.
Trainers.
Jeans with office shoes .
Oh there are too many

I'd love to know what men would say were no-nos in women's attire.

A Ben Sherman shirt.
A Peruvian alpaca wool jumper.
Raspberry or mustard coloured cords.

Loafers, deck shoes, any kind of slip on shoe. Can't stand them!

Lacoste stuff

Flat tweed caps

Any trainers like this

Men wearing women's jeans

All this 6" of ankles showing business

More tucker-inners with cardigans/blazers for me then (I actually already have one)

However, I can't help but agree with this:

3/4 length trousers - makes most blokes look like giant toddlers

As much as I love him, my DH has horrendous dress sense. It's a wonder I haven't set him on fire.

My best mate once went on a date with a guy who had a coat with an embroidered rasta smoking a spliff picture on the back. They were briefly almost fashionable in about 2000/2001. We agreed this was very bad.

I feel bad because now I've seen this thread I've realised there's loads I don't like:
So called comedy t shirts
Vests or being topless when it's sunny
Tracksuits not for sport (but I'm quite happy about walking fleeces and hoodies with jeans)
Any silly branded designer tops
Jeans with suit jacket a la Jeremy Clarkson mid Top Gear
Loafers and deck shoes, I'm not sure the difference

I feel like a bad person now.

There's many things not to my taste (hipster style for one) but it wouldn't put me off getting to know them. Other items if clothing as a big 'avoid' sign to me.

vests worn as tops
very tight skinny jeans
polyester anything
dirty clothes and unwashed hair

Chinos, esp if red or purple
Shoes without socks
Any shirt with the collar turned up (WHY do people do that?!)
Tweed
Rugby shirts

The other day on my train, there was a man in a superfine merino jumper.
My god he looked good.
Elegant, understated, casual, classy.
I might put one of those reuniting notices in the metro 😂

@Bubbletrouble43 you’ve triggered a memory! In the early 1990s the father of my children had a t-shirt that had a picture of the then Pope amoking a spliff and the words, ‘I like the Pope, the Pope smokes dope!’ He was in a band and a bit alternative, but that’s no excuse!

Jeans that don't cover their bum

I’m loving that we’ve managed four pages without being told how hideously judgemental we are!

I disagree with many of these, but that’s what I like about the thread - we can all vent regardless
