Ok so I know it’s not strictly a chocolate bar, but last night I had such a craving for a Twix. Haven’t had one in years. Got one today and it’s as good as I remember, the crunch, the caramel and just the right amount of chocolate. So, was just wondering what everyone else’s forgotten favourites are?

I realise I like all of these.

But my family know to buy me a Wispa above everything else. Just that bit denser than an aero. Gahhhh!!!

Me: wispa (from the freezer, I’m a real heathen) or kinder bueno. My retro choice would be the secret bar.

Eldest: Reece’s products.

Middle: a high cocoa milk, or milk dark chocolate. Fruit centre a bonus.

Youngling: boost.

I miss the coconut boost.

Does anyone remember one that was milk chocolate with the texture of shredded wheat on the outside and soft walnut whip type centre? Poss called a souffle bar? From the mid 90s. I do miss those.

Lidl do a nice fake Twix which we call Trix so I can't remember the real name. Aldi do a one stick version which is even nicer called Wacko. I still have two though and pretend that 2 come in a packet.

My favs are the plain chocolate wispa or yorkie. Chocolate mixed with fruit, nut, and caramel don't rock my boat.
